I highly recommend visiting Arnold Historical Society's Museum!
I like anything to do with history, but my love of historical buildings is what brought me to Arnold Historical Society for the first time, and they did not disappoint! They have a museum full of pictures of old houses, long since torn down. The staff directed me to a few that are still standing in Arnold, in case I wanted to drive by them to get a look.
The volunteers at the museum were very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions regarding the history of Arnold.
If you take a tour of the museum, which you definitely should do, I recommend asking the staff about the exhibits and photographs inside. A few members of Arnold Historical Society have been around since before the city of Arnold was incorporated, and have watched the city grow from basically just farmland, to what it is now: a suburban city, and can share some great stories.
