Holy Family Parish — Local services in Arnold Township

The school is amazing. I’m not sure the principal ever stops working. She is extremely communicative and you can tell she takes personal interest in students success. The resource teachers here are superior to neighboring schools, and I know because I toured more than 10 of them. The old assumption of kids who need more support must be at public school is a far cry from truth here. Pushed in speech services. Beautiful green space and playground equipment where some kids are stuck playing on blacktop. Super reasonable tuition with scholarship options available. All wrapped up with a Father Blessing bow on top (that’s his real name!). Not all priests are made equal and he spends real time with the students and families and can be seen all around...

They were a good parish, but I question that they still are. They are tearing down the church to build a new one. If you're into ugly architecture and felt banners as an offering in worship of our Lord, have at it. Rather than spend 100k for repairs, they opted to spend millions to replace it. NO "masses" only, of course as they are under the thumb of the St. Louis...

Dropped in to attend Sunday Mass while traveling back home from St. Louis. Wonderful old church and the Priest was excellent, welcoming parishioners before mass, just really outgoing and made visitors feel welcome. We thanked him after mass and he just smiled and said "thank you for coming today". We will the next...
