We’ve been ordering from here for 5 years and it’s always a great experience. Their Enchiladas Poblanas is my favorite and their mole sauce is amazing. Online it does say it comes with 4 enchiladas but I received 3. I still can’t complain cuz the food is that good! Portion size is big for me, I can make 3 meals out of their $9 enchiladas. Don’t let the color of the sauce steer you away. It’s so flavorful and slightly sweet and a tiny bit spicy. Their cheese dip is so good and their chips are what make it the BEST! They don’t have salt(which I really like cuz I can eat more with less guilt) and they are so fresh. I have tried a ton of menu items over the years and the food is always delicious. Never had a bad meal. This has to be my favorite restaurant.

A Mexican restaurant the way Americans love 'em: chips and salsa, combination platters and, occasionally, a roving mariachi band. You'll find the standard array of tacos, enchiladas and burritos - and, of course, rice and refried beans - but for a change of pace consider one of the house specialties. A carnitas entrée brings several chunks of tender, flavorful pork to wrap inside flour tortillas, while pork in red or green sauce packs quite a punch. Good for a festive dinner with friends: The margaritas are large and the chips and salsa will keep you happy till your meal arrives.

We tried El Paisano & it was a pleasant surprise. We had 2 beef taco combination plate with Mexican rice & refried beans. Also had 3 shrimp tacos with refried beans & rice. Chips & salsa & cheese dip. ALL was very tasty & was served up promptly , hot , & a friendly smile on our server. This will be one we teturn to again...

Please re-train or consider letting go your employee Rachel B. Had my meal around 3 p.m. 1-18-2020

I am newer to the area and I came to this restraunt twice (same server, I do not recall her name.) and had a very pleasent experience with good food. I didn't see exactly what I wanted on the menu and had requested just chicken, rice, and queso. No problem she brought it out and it was great. The receipt showed I was charged for nachos with chicken (no chips with rice).

Today I visit and have a new waitress (she seemed inexperienced and wasn't even prepared to take my order when she sat me.) and I try to explain what I wanted and let her know I had been in twice before and the other server (who happened to be working as well.) Had helped me out. She said "no problem I'll have it right out."

She proceeds to bring out a plate completely covered in queso and sits it down right and walks off. I realized instead of grilled chicken it is a seasoned shredded chicken. I tried it and it tasted awful together. Once she finally came back I tried to kindly explain that maybe there was a miscommunication and that this tasted awful and asked if I could get what I had thought I ordered instead. She got immediately defensive and stormed off only to come back angry and say "I can but you'll be charged for it." Then proceeded to complain about not understanding spanish. I said I'm not paying for another meal. She promptly walks off. She comes back awhile later and asks if I want a box for the untouched meal I said no thanks. She immediately says I can trash it for you then. I again said no thanks and attempted a few more bites of this awful meal.

It is moments like these where it is easy to say "well one worker made this experience bad, just go back and ask for someone else next time.", but the ideal that a business would employ and tolerate someone so disrespectful really makes me want to take my...

DO NOT let this place fool you. I will stick with literally any other Mexican restaurant. It is very clear why this restaurant was nearly empty at what should have been the lunch rush. They have a typed statement how menu prices may be higher due to rising food costs and that they have yet to order new menus. Fine. Except most items we got were about 50 percent higher than listed. That’s quite a big difference. And apparently they’ve been saying they would get new menus for at least seven months according to other reviews. I assume they will close soon and that is why they are avoiding new menus. It also seems they get to make up their prices as they go. As far as why we will never return, my son ordered a quesadilla with grilled chicken. Rather than charge us for a chicken quesadilla the server charged us for a quesadilla fajita at a premium price of 14.95. It was literally the same size quesadilla as the kids quesadilla with cheese and chicken. No sides or anything. 14.95! You can get a full lunch meal for much less. When questioned, our server Rachel was very rude. She couldn’t make it make sense. Just argued that’s just how they do it. For comparison, El Maguey charges 5.50 for the exact same thing. I should have known to stick with El Maguey with food and service that blows this place out of the water. When the lot was completely empty I should have taken that as a clear sign. I’m assuming the five star ratings on here were meant for one of the other locations with the same name and were only made for the Arnold location by mistake. Between the make up as you go pricing and the rude service we clearly won’t...

I gave a great review a year ago..but .We went in during the week ..horrible service.. Short staffed.. Sat waiting for about 5 minutes..no menus no drinks no salt just chips and salsa ...The hostess brought chips she asked if we wanted cheese dip then never brought it back? She never served drinks either? For a hostess she didn't do a hostess job at all.. We sat for 20 minutes and I even had to get up and get my own menu .I asked the hostess for table salt due to that fact I didn't see any otherwise I wouldn't have asked. she stated she would get it .Then passed our table again I reminded her "Salt?" and. She said "sorry, Its Not My Job" Wtheck?.. If I was the owner her butt be out that door. Never again will we go back.there I don't care how many years we been eating there... poor service just ruined that place for us.... Oh, btw, never saw the waitress except 1 time to ask for drinks , husband asked for drink menu, she gave him one and walked away that was it of her. We waited about 20 more minutes and decided to walk out. As we left the hostess sarcastically said " well Good bye" unbelievable!! I turned around and said I've worked in the same environment for many years and it don't take much to grab a damn salt shaker to appease a customer ..your customer service skills and Additude are horrible ..and walked out...Bad bad service .. No more for us. We have been customers for 3 years there. Sad its gone down hill now.. We ended walking out due to the Additude from both the servers... Disnt see any manager either ..no where to be found. I would not recommend this place ever again...
