Wow! My child has attended this camp for years so when they closed we were all saddened by it. She was going to be attending camp this summer and to our surprise it was back here! First thing I noticed was no more dirt road as you drive in, yay! Road is now paved, awesome. Then you see new renovated cabins all painted and looking great! There's also a new "community center" for everyone's son gathering, very nice. As you drive around everything is fresh and clean making everything look new and inviting! According to my daughter she loves being there and enjoying all the ew amenities. Overall, this is a huge improvement and anyone considering going there and remembers what was like before will be impressed and shouldn't hesitate to stay there. Read moreFor the camping area, it's a very basic plot with only 1 tree providing shade. It is definitely on the pricey side as I paid $600 for 4 days of camping. The host wouldn't accomodate any partial refunds. I tried calling the day before my reservation to change it from 8 people to 6, but nobody answered. Since the management office doesn't have many business hours, it was difficult to contact them during week. We also had the majority of campers only doing 3 nights instead of the reserved 4. The host wouldn't issue any partial refunds and stopped responding after the first request for a partial refund. Expect to overpay, not get any partial refunds if reservation details change, and to be just content...
