I wanted to grab a burger before I had to go to work so that left me with roughly 45 minutes to grab some food. My party and I ordered and it wasn't to long before our food was out, so that was nice. When we brought the food back to the table 2 of the orders were fine and they messed mine up. I had added cheddar cheese to mine and they forgot to put it on there even though they had charged my the .50 cent charge. I decided that I didn't have enough time to complain about it so I just went on to eat the burger, and after taking the first bite, THE INSIDE WAS STILL COLD & PINK, not just a little pink, pretty much solid though pink and cold. I spit my food out in a napkin and took the burger back to the counter. The lady apologized and said that they would make another one to go for me. I waited back at the table for roughly 20 minutes, but I never heard anything. I went back to the counter and I asked the lady what had happened, the kitchen had either forgotten to remake it or misplaced it. So it would be another 15 minutes for them to make the burger, I told them not to worry about it and that they could just refund me for the $4.95+.50 it cost for the burger. If the other two items in the party didn't come out okay then I would have rated this place a lot lower, but they managed to get something right. I was a bit disappointed they were supposed to have the best...

Great food at fair prices. If that's all you need then go here. Good fast food and delicious hot fries. We especially enjoyed the lean hot pastrami sandwich! Walk up to counter to order your food and pay. Don't expect a smile or friendly exchange from staff. One employee in particular working the Cook & prep kitchen had nearly shoulder- length hair that he kept flipping out of his face and shaking his surfer dude hair all over the food. Fast food dining area is very casual atmosphere plus a few outdoor tables. Not enough staff cleaning the dining area during busier times of day. Overflowing trash cans and food/dirt swept into a pile with broom still propped against the wall nearby in dining area (left near the bathroom for people to walk through dirt pile). No hand soap (gross!) at the oddly built sink that is outside of the shabby 2 bathrooms (no sink in room with toilet so try not to touch the doorknobs!). - I hope there was another sink WITH SOAP in the kitchen area since I'd already paid for our food & didn't want to walk out in disgust. - Sadly, in spite of the good food that was not very "fast", we probably will not visit here again because of questionable hygiene and dirty dining. If they clean up their act, it would be my top recommendation on AG's main street for no frills good...

Hate posting this as I try to give a business a chance to resolve their issues. I reached out to discuss with the owner on 3 occasions and left my phone number. No call back. I have been going to Village Grill for years. Over the last 3 months the service has been going downhill. The last time I ordered on Sat, and Sun. On Saturday received chicken tenders with no ranch, ask for fries to be in separate container since they were cajun fries, that didn't happen. Ordered Ortega Chicken sandwich and got a bun instead of toasted bread, and when I went to pick up the order the two male employees were goofing off and not paying attention to the counter. On Sunday, ordered same food. The girl on the phone was rude, I asked for Tenders and she argued that they were nuggets. "The menu even says Tenders". She hung up without getting my name or telling me when order would be ready. When I was ordering she said I couldn't substitute the fries for cajun which I have been ordering for months. Again when I got there no separate container. Food tasted great but I can't give them business when I am treated horribly and worse, trying to talk to the owner and he...

It's Old Arroyo ,that place was slammed the whole time we were there. Food came quick and it was fresh and hot. Ample seating inside and out . Banana shake had a couple of chunks banana at the bottom (YUM) . It's fast paced there are plenty of menus to figure out what you want before getting in line. Be ready to order once your in line. Had the Cajun Burger with extra Patty and added jack cheese with mushrooms, She had spicy salad we shared combo Fry's/onion rings ice tea and shake for $33 bucks very well worth my Thrill and the Grill

Stopped in on a week day with high hopes. Based on who was there, it seemed like a local spot which is a good sign for me. The decor, and atmosphere is unique. The food however (burger) left a lot to be desired. Patty tasted like mid/low quality preformed frozen patties. Burger looked a lot better than it tasted. Staff was friendly and helpful, would go back if the food quality improved.

The sign on the door says best burgers in town and I definitely think they got that one right. You order your burgers and sides seperatly. The fry and onion ring basket was amazing and the avocado bacon burger was excellent with a delicious patty. The atmosphere inside is very relaxed with lots of seating and there is a good amount of sidewalk seating.
