I was super happy to finally get to try this place. I ordered online, for a curbside pick up. I was very much in a hurry as I am sure most people are at 7 am. Well I ordered a mocha coffee and a avocado toast. The total was well over $17.00. I called the restaurant 1 min before I arrived as stated on the receipt online. I did, I was told that they would t have time for my order and if I wanted to come in I could. Well I had twin 5 month old babies in the car. It's a task to get them in and out. I was super upset. I understand that people think that curbside is rude. I understand, but don't offer it if you cant get your employees to do their work. I was treated so terrible from the person on the phone it's detoured me from even calling to get my refund. Just absolutely crazy to think I put in my order 30 min prior to me arriving and being told that they didn't have time for me. Oh and they answered the phone not with a greeting but exactly this "please hold". 17 bucks pretty much stolen. Not even so much as a response from the owner or manager on this. I still have not even received a call back after several attempts in reaching them. I hope they feel good about the 17 bucks they ripped me off for. I will never do...

Our experience was ruined by rude staff, in particular a man with round glasses who, several times, could be heard mocking my sister behind the counter.

My sister asked if mint could be added to the iced tea. It couldn't, which is perfectly fine, but it seems the Barista misunderstood and altered the second drink she ordered. Upon realization, my sister asked if they could remake the drink to the original order. The barista was kind and remade the drink; however, I could heard her coworker complaining about our oder at the front counter, and how we shouldn't have even asked for mint and it was a ridiculous request. Sure, whatever. What really bothered me was 5 minutes later, I see and hear the man rudely imitating my sister asking for her original order and complaining, and making fun of her to his coworker, at the front counter just 10 feet away from us.

This made all of us uncomfortable, and ruined the whole experience. What we enjoyed as a nice spot to visit with unique drinks turned into a terrible experience. Such rude people as that man have no place working around the public if they can't withhold themselves from making fun of...

Sorry to be a bummer about your establishment but our food experience was truly horrible... the outdoor dining was lovely, as my wife and I met up with our niece and her boyfriend and enjoyed being able to eat outside in comfort having all being fully vaccinated (except for the boyfriend)...but the menu was not what we expected and shame on me for not checking it out online ahead of time....I ordered the Italian something or other and my wife ordered a similar dish but from a different country's origin....what we were served was cold, semi-stale slices of bread topped by a thin slice of "prosciutto' with some kind of a sauce....I gave half my meal to the boyfriend who decided not to order food because he didn't want me to pay for his meal...not being a natural complainer we left and still tipped the server, who was fairly unmemorable....We live in Nipomo and my wife does business in the Village and we're there often...I get my haircuts there and she gets her nails done there...I wish you success in your business, but given the multitude of other options in the Village we'll be spending our dollars...

The shop is really cute and I was super excited to go in on my day off to brighten up my day. I also work in the service industry I love checking out local shops. This place ruined my day 🫤. I felt like my order was taken by a high school bully. “Is that it 😒” literally glaring at me. I am very friendly and did not deserve to be treated like this, really hurt my feelings. It would help the kitchen and the flow of the shop if the baristas were properly trained asking question at the register “would you like that on toast? or a bagel?” “What else could I get for you?” customers don’t know your menu has questions. The staff needs to lead the customer through their ordering experience. The customer isn’t trained on your shop’s specific process the staff needs to do their part. And then even a 50% improvement on customer service would do this place well. All the guest were so kind, the staff was terrible vibe.

Coffee was alright, not as good as some other local places we've tried. The staff was friendly and cheery. One of our drinks was made wrong the first time, and they fixed it for us right away. Tables and inside were very clean. For food- The prices vs serving sizes, in my opinion, are laughable. My husbands waffle looked like a child's size meal- it was so small. 2 inches x 2 inches probably. My breakfast toast was alright. The toast wasn't really toasted, but then again, when you put something that's toasted on a wood board to serve it, it makes sense as to why it felt soggy. It was also very bland, no seasonings at all. It was pretty disappointing, so we won't be going back. We paid $35 for "breakfast" and coffee just to go get food from somewhere else after.
