5/5/23 - I went and picked up my gown last night, and it was perfect! Sara and Carmella again made me feel like a friend. I tried my gown on, felt so gorgeous looking in the mirror, and took it home on a nice sturdy hanger and a Something Bridal white bag. I chose to pay half upon purchase and the second half at pick up and both times, payment was super simple. The shop works with a seamstress, whose card was shared with me, which is great because it can be on my timeline. If I could give more stars, I would!

11/28/22 - I cannot say enough great things about Sara and her girls over at Something Bridal. I had never tried on a bridal gown before, and really had no idea what I wanted. For my initial appointment, I took two friends with me. We (me, my friends, and Sara and her daughter, Carmella) picked out 10 gowns for me - the selection was really wonderful! In an hour and a half, I tried them all. I am a solidly mid-sized woman, and all but two of the dresses fit and zipped! I was worried about that fact in shopping for a bridal gown - the last thing I wanted was for my self-esteem to take a hit as I'm trying on these gorgeous dresses. Sara told me that one of the first things they did when they purchased the shop was buy more sizes in more styles. This is just one of the ways that Sara really listens to her brides and those she observed before she and her family took possession of Something Bridal. The shop itself is super cute - just one room with racks of gowns and a partitioned off changing area. It felt spacious but cozy and very intimate. They book one appointment at a time, so the two times I went, it was just me and my people, which I really appreciated. Sara and Carmella were quick and efficient with getting me in and out of dresses. I narrowed it down to three, and the family opened the shop for me on a day they were not booking appointments so that I could return with my mom (who was in town for a visit), future MIL, and bridesmaids a few days later to pick the one. Sara was there with all three of her daughters, and they made me feel so special and taken care of. Reanna at something bridal is amazing. We went in 2 different times looking for wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses. She was our first and last stop. We had SO many questions, changed our minds, tried the same dresses on over and over and she was there with a smile on her face and a down to earth personality the entire time. She was patient, knowledgeable and understanding. She looked things up for us, made us feel comfortable and spent extra time with us. The second appointment we had (to check out the awesome savings on her sample sales) we ran out of time and didn't get to try everything on. An appointment came after us and she let us come back after their appointment and finish! She totally didn't have to do that and it was so appreciated because that's when we said yes to the dress and the bridesmaids dresses!! She has a great selection and if there's something she doesn't have she will try and find it for you. Outstanding customer service and great prices. From start to finish, shopping with Reanna was a wonderful experience! I had the pleasure of visiting Something Bridal twice. Although her store is small, it is full of beautiful dresses at every price range. She let me try on as many dresses as I liked with no rush. Best of all, the dress I found was on sale, so I was able to take it home with me at a shockingly low price, which was great because my wedding was only 2 1/2 months away!

What stood out about the experience at Something Bridal was the little things: Reanna was easily available at times that were convenient to me, she was exceedingly friendly and good at “small talk,” and she took the best photographs of me in my dresses out of the girls at the bridal shops I visited. I am so glad that I did searched for all bridal shops in the SLO region because I had no idea this place existed!
