Altar'd State Biltmore Park Town Square — Attraction in Asheville

TLDR: Great selection; incredible customer service (Keelee, specifically)

First, it’s rare that I ever write a review, but because of my experience this week, I couldn’t not.

Second, I’m among the few shoppers who really keeps to myself, and I prefer minimal engagement by staff (even though I know they’re great snd super helpful — just my introverted nature). However… I went to Altar’d State yesterday AND today on the hunt for a very specific dress style for an upcoming event. Both days, Keelee approached me to offer some assistance. She was super low-key and not overbearing. Today, she remembered me from yesterday, and we discussed exactly what I was looking for. She pointed me in the right direction, let me browse, and made herself available. Once I got to the fitting room, she had another dress picked for me AND the perfect pair of heels in my exact size (like, she’s great, right?) which I’d been looking around the store for. I ended up with the perfect dress and I bought the heels she picked out!

Have always loved this store. Yes a little pricy,but always fun with huge variety of latest styles. I commend them for adding a plus size area. It's not my size category,but nice to see same on trend pieces as in smaller sizes! I shopped a bit, but one of the sales associates was walking around with a little dog in her arms. Talking to it, setting it on the check out counter, seemed a but preoccupied with the dog, while her sales assistant partner seemed to be doing the work. I'm a huge dog lover,but I don't want to be approached by a sales associate with a dog in her arms.( Some people are allergic to dogs). I didn't stay, because the doggie situation seemed weird and off putting. It just seemed...

Clothing was very expensive, which I kind of get but two skirts for $70 something dollars is a little ridiculous imo. VERY very limited size availability for plus size people or even mid-size people. There was a sign saying they only carried up to like... a size 10 in-store, which is a little ridiculous. Clothing is very cute, staff friendly... just less so for...
