Protect yourself and your wallet, don’t shop at the store or place an online order with this company. Returns always make me anxious and I always go in flashing a smile and make a point to be very pleasant to the employees and have all my things organized. That usually makes a difference with how I’m treated in a store, but it didn’t today with the two men that apparently manage this branch. Before I could get out any detail about what happened with the order, I was interrupted, cut off and completely shut down with such negativity, it completely threw me off. I felt like a naughty child. Over the holidays, I made two large purchases from the online store including three outdoor prismatic light decorations. When they were delivered, we weren’t even able to complete the assembly because they were so flimsy and cheap, it was already falling apart before we even got it plugged in or outside. I took the pieces to this At Home for return immediately, only to be told that the barcodes and order numbers I was provided via email with my online order wasn’t sufficient to prove my purchase or for them to input into their system. 🤔🤯 My order didn’t come with either invoice or receipt, couldn’t be returned, and the most I got was “oops” and an offer of in-store credit to the tune of $200. I decided to take the items home and go back out at a later time, hoping to somehow find a receipt. I couldn’t. I received zero help from corporate. Today, I went back to the store with my returns in tow yet again and was helped by a very kind lady, who called a manager up to look into the situation. I wish she hadn’t. I was told that even though they’re at fault for not sending the invoice/receipt they say I need to make a return, they will not be refunding me. The only store credit I was offered was the clearance price of the items, a grand total of $19 when I paid $100 each. At Home is not the thing, y’all. And neither were their Brad & Chad. Promote the ladies, they...
Read moreToday I went to the store to revamp my child’s room with a new bed frame and shelves etc. I ended up finding a bed frame that would work. I waited about 20 mins to find some help but never came across anyone. Finally I decided to lug it out myself. On the way out I passed three employees, one said good morning and none of them offered assistance even though I had to stop multiple times because it was so heavy and I’m a petite woman. When I was checking out the cashier gave me a little lecture on how if I don’t sign up for the rewards perk and I loose my receipt that they won’t process a return without it. I let her know that no one offered me help carrying the bed frame and because of that I will probably not be returning. She said she was sorry but still didn’t offer for anyone to come carry it out to my car for me. It’s no wonder the place is ALWAYS EMPTY. Like seriously, it’s a ghost town in there. What’s crazy is the first AtHome I visited was in Knoxville and that store is always packed with people. We have made multiple purchases at that location. I don’t see this store lasting long here in Asheville, if they don’t get...
Read moreI purchased 2 lawn chair cushions yesterday & other items. The 2 chair cushions did not fit, too big. I returned them 2day for an exchange. They would not take them back because I had removed the tags!!! I cannot believe this!!! One cushion was $49 & the other $39. There are no signs anywhere at the register that say do not remove tags or we will not exchange or refund.. I am just sick!! I would be very careful buying their outdoor yard cushions or u will end up like me. If they don't fit MONEY lost!!! I would not recommend this Hendersonville store for outdoor yard cushions to anyone. The clerk was very polite & sorry about their ridiculous return,...
