We stay in hotels monthly for travel ball and this is the first time we experienced rudeness from the front desk . Krishna was unprofessional and when asking for extra towels she said to contact the housekeeping but with in minutes after asking her name she brought the towels to us. We asked for a late check out due to soccer game time and she said 11:30 was the latest and it would cost $20 every 30 minutes. We have never checked out before 12 on late checkouts and we had 2 small children and just needed 30 more minutes. I then called a few other Country Inns we have stayed in including one off Tunnel Road in Asheville and without hesitation I asked what late checkout was and the response was 12 noon. So I went to the front desk rung the bell and Krishna came out I asked for the manager (he was right around the corner I heard them conversating before she helped me) It became silent and whispers started then he walked out “can I help you” I asked again for late checkout and he proceeded to make excuses I said thank you and he said “have a nice day.” This by far was the RUDEST hotel I have experienced and would not stay here again. Bobby Fisher is the manager I spoke with and it was very disappointing to have a manager that did not try to go above and beyond for us. We have not been loud or rude, we just had 2 small kids that was on the fields at 7am the morning before. Also, all other staff was professional (Monica did a great job cleaning our room) and went above and beyond to help especially since we had to be at the fields early the first morning of our stay. They even let us eat breakfast early. The location was great with Outlets and Soccer fields nearby but I will take my business else where. The rating is on Management (Bobby Fisher ) and Kryshna’s attitude. $387 for 2 nights and an apathetic attitude. I have never been so upset with hotel management as I was this morning. They are independently owned and we unable to get the owners name or contact...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel and it was a nightmare. Not only was there mold/mildew everywhere, making the air heavy and difficult to breathe, but the workers were incredibly rude, racist, and unhelpful. The floors and rooms were not very clean with dirt on floor, hair in the shower area, and the subfloor under the laminate floors shift as I walked around my room. They made offensive remarks and treated me with utter disrespect after I kindly asked one of the workers to move their car out of two parking spots and put into one so I could also park. I was left with, “that’s your problem, not ours, park elsewhere”. Additionally, they tried to overcharge me on my daily rate when I went to extend my stay just one extra night and if I hadn't insisted on a receipt, they would have gotten away with it. They told me the rate was $69.56 and then went to $85.96 due to a weekend for the extra day, no worries, but when I went to pay it was $170 and then they told me that I’d have to pay the $170 now. Not sure how I prepaid every night and then when I want to extend one night, my previous payment was voided and then told it would be double and my original reservation is now at a higher rate and they can’t fix it. Umm how?!
Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being mistreated and ripped off and told multiple lies. I personally have never in my life been treated so terrible and especially in a moment where I’m only here visiting my father who’s dying in the hospital to be treated with no care, sympathy, or respect as a human.
PLEASE STAY AWAY. I truly hope corporate calls me back as I’m waiting to talk to them as when I asked for a manager onsite or at least a name, I was told I won’t be provided any of that...
Read moreI wish I could give them negative stars. This was a nightmare of a stay. From the stained bed linens and towels to the toxic particles in the room. That is just the beginning of the horrible stay experience. My friend and I would cough in the room because of the air quality. By the second morning she lost her voice. We switched rooms, and it did not help. Once we were outside the hotel we were great, and she would slowly get her voice back. At the end of our stay I wanted to talk to the manager to receive a refund for the health hazard of the room and the uncleanliness we experienced. The manager was not there, so we left a note. I called every other day for a week and no response. I talked to corporate who said they could not make things right or hold the hotel accountable. I then submitted a complaint with the better business bureau, and that was the first time I received a response from the hotel. Not only did the hotel not reply to the issue of the stains, but said that my friend and I were just sick. First of all, they are not qualified to comment on that. They are not health professionals, and it is just illogical. We arrived from different states and only had respiratory symptoms in their hotel. They denied our request for refund and then never responded to our reply through the BBB system, from where I proved their wrong accusations and called them to investigate the air in the hotel. I am submitting their hotel to the health department. Even though the stay was poor, the lack of accountability and nonexistent communication from the management/owner of the hotel is unacceptable. I will be contacting my...
