I’m visiting this park with my kids as a halfway point for meeting family between states. Pretty pleased with it! It covers a lot of ground and offers several levels and different activities, from graduated levels of monkey bars to balancing areas to swings (baby, traditional, and tire) as well as an area just for toddlers. There’s ample seating for parents as well as a couple of small picnic tables. I actually just noticed the sign stating that it’s associated with the adjacent elementary school, and that’s kind of nice. Yes, it could use a little cleanup and a fresh coat of paint here and there, but it reminds me of my own school playground growing up and has a nostalgic charm to it. And, possibly most importantly, the neighborhood feels safe. There are sweet little old ladies out walking dogs, and it feels secure with the school nearby, even after hours. Read moreThis amazing park was resurrected by local volunteers who rebuilt the park from the ground up in October 2023. It's an expansive park with a fenced in toddler area, plenty of bench seating for parents, lots of fun features like a tire swing, rope bridge, fire pole, three tube slides, rings, monkey bars and, best of all, a massive fortress-like series of turrets for kids to climb.
