The spa is too good to put into words properly, but I will attempt at just a summary. The Spa at Grove Park Inn is a must. My favorite part is how no electronics are allowed so you get total relaxation. The mineral pool where you can hear the music under water is just pure Zen. The eucalyptus sauna is so refreshing, and you must partake of the contrast pool afterward. The customer service is top notch. Every towel or anything laying about that needed to be picked up by staff was. They are on top of everything and very willing to be of service in whatever question you have. They make you feel comfortable. It wasn't crowded in there. The area upstairs with the fireplace and lounge chairs is totally great. It is peaceful everywhere. The showers & vanity area have brushes, soap, spray deodorant, shampoos/conditioners, lotions and more. There are lockers you are assigned to keep your things safe. I love the hot tubs on each side where the waterfalls can fall on you and give the sensation as if you're getting a massage in the hot tub. Oh and the actual massage I had was amazing. The services you can choose from are very good, and you get to spend the day in the spa. I can't say enough about the whole thing, and this doesn't even cover it all. My girlfriends and I were literally the first ones in and the last ones out this past weekend. I'd go once a month if I could. Go if you get the chance.

If you're looking for a five-star spa experience, look no further. We stayed at the hotel Monday-Friday and received a spa service each day. YOU MUST BOOK YOUR APPTS IN ADVANCE!! Each of our services were spectacular. You have access to the spa's amenities all day long. The five services I enjoyed were: - Aromatherapy Massage - this is a very soothing massage, perfect to get you relaxed. - Pedicure - this was one of the best pedicures I've ever had. It was so detailed and I had the entire room to myself, making it so special and relaxing. - Total Body Indulgence - this was my favorite treatment. At first, I was skeptical because the scrub that is performed is in two parts - one dry and one wet. After that, you receive a Swedish massage and it was wonderful!! - Classic Facial - this was incredible, I feel asleep twice. It was so soothing and completely worth the money. - Mountain View Massage - I did a 50 min session in this room which overlooks the mountains. The room has a fireplace and it is so quaint and beautiful, a perfect way to relax and an even better way to have ended the trip. I would also caution you to book reservations at the restaurants as soon as possible because they will fill up and you will be SOL.

The spa is very unique and beautiful. The interior and exterior is very relaxing. There are 3 sections that have waterfalls. The water isn't very hot, but it's still relaxing. Beware of the person that decides to stand under the waterfall though as it sprays everywhere. There is a hot tub that is behind a door near the wet and dry saunas and does not have a waterfall. I unfortunately didn't discover this until I was leaving and was already dressed. The inside pool is large and just the right amount of cool after being in hot water. The outside pool is heated and feels great with the cold mountain air. Overall, great experience. The entry to the hotel is very open with beautiful high ceilings and 2 huge fireplaces. The rooms need some updating and touch-up. The trim work had big blobs of caulking and the tile in the bathrooms was quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. The rooms were clean and comfortable though. There are several restaurants on site and plenty of things to do besides the spa. You really don't need to leave your entire stay. While I did see some children in the hotel, I only saw 2 in the spa the whole day. Bottom line, if you're looking for a nice place to relax for the weekend, this is your place.

This hotel is truly one of a kind — History buff or not, you will love to see and learn about the rich 100+ year history. It is not the most modern place to stay but you know you’re coming to this destination for an experience! The views are breathtaking and the real star of the show. The room was clean and the staff in almost every interaction was kind and extremely hospitable; I say almost because one of the main reason my friend and I booked our 2 night stay here was to experience a relaxing day at the spa, which unfortunately was not the case for us after an unacceptable experience. One of our massages was cut short and the only thing they initially offered was a 20% discount on the massage and told that there was no one else available to finish out the massage and no other available appointments to rebook. We simply asked that my friends massage would be taken care of as she only received half the massage when the masseuse needed to leave early due to an emergency. After needing to speak to a manager and someone else above them after she refused anything beyond a 40% discount, eventually they did the right thing and comped her massage but we really had to fight for it after being told they felt that 20-40% off was fair since she had received about 30 mins of her 50 minute massage. Afterward, we went to the front desk and spoke with Jacob (the Asst Manager) to make management aware of what happened and he was beyond accommodating and apologetic to us — He was truly hospitable and made us feel comfortable to stay our final night and go to dinner after offering to take care of us a few different ways in hopes of making things right. We really appreciated his above and beyond attitude that turned our extreme disappointment around for the better. Overall, it’s a beautiful stay if you can afford the price point but just be aware that the spa staff is not as accommodating as the rest of the...

From the second we entered the hallway outside The Spa at The Omni GPI, I was enchanted. The little bit I knew was from a video and a relative who works at GPI. I saw the magic added by the Disney Imagineers who helped with the design right away. There are so many details I missed on the walk in even though i was TRYING to notice things! Geodes and sparkles in the stone, waterfalls and pools in the recesses. I could have been happy to spend the day in the hallway! Then, I saw the outdoor waterfall at the entrance! We were greeted by Jason who signed us in and explained Spa Tone with an adorable story about a teacher consoling a child who missed the last Tasty cake. Jason handed us over to Dara who gave a fun and informative tour of the women's and general facilities. A comfy robe and shoes and we were on our way. I love, love, love the eucalyptus steam room, the breathing room, and the dry sauna, but the other features are incredible, too. Contrast pools, waterfall tubs, the lap pool and the other pools are inviting and peaceful. I cannot say enough about the relaxing atmosphere in the lounges. I even spent a little time adding to a beautiful bird while doing a little coloring meditation in the silent lounge.

We ate a nice lunch from the Spa Bistro outside near the pool. Logan was an exceptional server and only added to the luxurious day! The Spa is typically only available for overnight guests of GPI. It is absolutely a wonderful experience (we had day passes but I imagine that massages and other treatments are incredible!), but make sure you book early because it fills up well in advance most days. We had reservations at least 3 months ahead of our visit. If you have the opportunity to spend a day here, you will leave relaxed...

I had a prenatal massage on 3/31 and it was one of the most horrific experiences. I don’t like to post negative reviews, so I was trying to let this go, but I can’t get my mind off of how bad my experience was and feel the need to post this review. First, the massage therapist admitted she didn’t realize my massage was a prenatal massage until I handed her the paperwork the front desk gives you when you check into the spa. Therefore, she was completely unprepared and I am not sure if the therapist has ever even been trained on doing these types of massages. Next, the bed temperature was set to high and I was overheated and sweating profusely within the first 10 minutes. I had to ask for the heat to be turned off completely. A bed should never be set to high for someone who is pregnant. Next, I am 30+ weeks pregnant and asked her to focus on my back because that is what hurt the most. Out of my 80 minute massage, maybe 10 minutes was spent on my back total. The majority of my massage was spent on my thighs and calves when those aren’t even really supposed to be massaged during pregnancy due to potential complications with blood clots, etc. You could tell the therapist did not want to be there, as the whole experience felt SUPER rushed and unprofessional. The therapist was also clearly sick and was sniffling over top of me throughout the entire massage. I literally could not wait for it to be over and immediately started crying to my husband as I reentered the spa. I had such high expectations for this and cannot believe I paid $300+ for such an awful experience. It’s unfortunate because my facial on 3/30 was fantastic. I received a better message during that than I did my...
