This is the most unfriendly, unwelcoming store I have ever been in. I moved here from Indianapolis 10 months ago. I am originally from the South. I was expecting the customer service level to exceed my expectations considering the reputation of the South. Deeply disappointed. No welcome, no questions or offering of assistance. Nothing! The owner was there and was more interested in eating her french fries on the floor while her husband/accountant also ignored everyone. The young girl behind the counter did say bye, but that was it. I was interested in buying a product they have but could not find it. Since no one even thought to ask about helping me, I left. Greeting me were several homeless people sitting on the walls outside their store. I hope this means the people that work or own the place are much nicer and generous to them. I gave Heery's a second chance and was deeply disappointed. I would never buy a thing there, even if they gave it to me. I have been a buyer of Haute Hippie in the past and was shocked to even see it there. Unfortunately, I will buy this brand on-line or at more friendly and welcoming boutiques in Franklin, TN that also sell the brand. Haven, in Franklin, is a visual experience as well as good customer service.. Heery's has a convoluted merchandising presence. At least they got rid of the Vera Bradley and moved to the Heery's II. Heery's II is a bit more friendly, but again I feel the store needs to decide what it wants to be when it grows up, a children store or a fine china and decor store. Sad for...
Read moreMy review is to help. I have to say that the vibe while in here is uncomfortable. I know they know this as the reviews are full of this description. It used to be that retail stores treated customers very well and one would think that they'd feel the need to do this with online competition. I do like this store and miss some of the salespeople who had been there in the past. I recall a French woman who was a long time employee here. She was sincere and attentive and made me want to return. There is something to be said for manners and she had them. And for the younger people working in this shop I hope they realize that hanging around giggling at the cash register is...
Read moreI went into Heerys about 3 months ago in Athens, Ga and I had a terrible experience. They have very cute clothes but they do have a big price tag, too. I don't have a problem with that at all because I was very familiar with most of the brands. But, the way the staff treated my friends and I was as if we were below their store was what bugged me. They eye balled us the whole time we were in there as if we were going to try and take something. Almost as if we didn't look the part to shop in their store. They do have very nice things and I understand that they have to watch out for thieves, but this...
