Blue Rat Smoke Shop — Attraction in Atlanta

I'm new to Atlanta, living in buckhead. I went to many places trying to find juice for my vape. I'm incredibly picky. While they don't have basically any of a variety, the limited amount they do have is AMAZING and LOCAL! And man, their custom blown glass is gorgeous and ridiculously intricate. The staff was extremely friendly, for the most part. Especially in comparison to the other headshops around here that I've been to. The first guy I dealt with was kindof meh. He clearly didn't want to be at work (which doesn't make sense. Seems like it'd be a relatively easy and enjoyable job). But the rest of the staff is friendly and helpful. I plan in going back today to pick up some more "Mad Rabbit". Awesome surprise there. Coconut and Graham crackers! Absolute bliss. This place is awesome. I think everyone should visit at least once, if not to just check out the glass case with all the gorgeous custom pieces. It's something we should see...

A mixture of being on a trip, a glance of Turkish bazar and a visit in a museum of contemporary art. Art it is for sure and therefore I recommend to go there between 10 am and 6 pm on workdays to see and experience life how some of these stunning pieces are created. I did not know a quarter of what for or how it has to be use of what is presented in that wide space. But the extremely friendly stuff showed patience and appreciated my interested in their work. I had a great time. And now I can tell: I think there is nothing around smoking (not cigars, that’s different story) this shop has it all or it does not exist. My visit here forced me two days later to get an additional luggage for my flight back home....

I used to love this place but the past few years the staff always has an attitude and can't wait to get back behind the counter for a smoke break. I stopped going for about a year and figured I'd give them another try last month and it's worse then before. Glass is over priced and staff isn't friendly and doesn't like answering questions about products they sell.

UPDATE. Staff has not changed, maybe gotten worse since last visit. It’s like they want to argue. You can’t even ask a question without some sort of attitude. Quality of glass made in house is very below average and overpriced. I dread going in this place. Unfortunately sometimes they’re the only place open...
