I really enjoy the group exercise classes at this location. I have done numerous Zumba classes, step aerobics classes, and cycle zone classes. The instructors here really make it fun. The kids club is really convenient, and I have been bringing my son here since right after first birthday. There is an older lady there that is really sweet and good with children. The gym is super crowded after 5 PM during the week, but this does not stop me from coming in when it is convenient. When I had a later work schedule, I would take advantage of the classes offered at 8:30 AM. Now I just go when I can along with other locations. At this location, I really like the total body class, kickboxing class, and spin class offered on the weekends. This location has the best instructors hands down. It makes the membership worth it to me. I pay for Kids club with cash because I do not like the way they bill the account separately. Initially, I would bill it on to my account each time I used the service. I noticed my rate along with three separate charges for the three times that I used it that month. I found this weird because, it seemed easier (and less likely to cause error) to just bill it all together, as a one time charge, with the cost of the monthly rate included. I applied for my membership online, and did not add Kids club initially, because I tend to be inconsistent with using the gym. It is $10 monthly , during the time that you sign up, and $15 monthly any time after that. I just opt to pay my $5 in cash because sometimes, I don't have to bring my baby with me. In regard to the bathroom, it is a little old school, and it does have a warm temperature and odor. But honestly, that is expected with the sauna and showers attached, and women being women. I honestly opt to bathe at home. I highly suggest shower shoes if you decide not too. The women do come in with their make up done sometimes and looking cute with the bundles and revealing clothes. But hey whatever floats your boat, I am not trying to impress any one or find a man. Some people like to feel cute when they work out. For me, I like to come in with whatever is comfortable. Whether it is a matching work out set, or an over-sized t-shirt and sweats. As far as equipment goes, they have a lot of it, but I usually use the elliptical and the treadmill. I will be starting to do more strength training soon. Overall, I highly recommend you come and try a class, it really makes...
Read moreI started going to this gym in April 2024 and recently froze my membership. The primary reason? They do not care about families here. I homeschool my kids and starting our day with a workout was crucial to our daily routine. I was paying an extra $30/month for the childcare and for the past few months itâs rarely open. Before that, it was never ever clean. Sticky surfaces and floors. Smudged windows. Peeling paint and drywall. Leaking ceilings. You name it!!! Completely neglected! The babysitter at that time was phenomenal, but they didnât value her and treated her badly (yes right in front of the parents). In those eight months thereâs been four different managers and no improvement to the facility. The equipment is old and rusted. Dust everywhere. Weights never on the racks! Bathrooms just yuck! Sanitizing wipes never available. I seriously donât understand how this location is still open. Itâs a disgrace to the brandâs reputation. They donât even greet you when you walk in! You would think the staff is being held against their will because everyone always has an attitude and takes legitimate safety concerns and complaints personally. I tried my best to be patient and give the new managers time to implement positive changes but itâs no use. I hope the new manager Cam and the janitorial lead Tasha sees these reviews and for once take action to change things. Iâm willing to resume my membership if they can start to do their jobs and get the place under control. I shouldnât have to drive 20 mins to a different facility for basic accommodations and considerations. Itâs so sad and unfortunate.
Also watch out for Chris in sales. I was enrolled in a membership that wasnât what he advertised to me. Found out when I tried working out in another state. I ended up canceling it and started over at that different club. Consequently I had to pay the initiation fee twice because Chris lied about what he sold me. Thankfully that new rep set me with an even better deal as a courtesy for the inconveniences caused...
Read moreMy husband and I have been members at this location for over a year.
The good: -The staff I've had interactions with are wonderful. When I've needed assistance with an equipment or just had a general question they have been very helpful.
-The Kids Klub is such a great resource. We have been bringing our daughter since she was three months. The ladies there are so sweet and take such great care of here. Being a new mom, this has been such a great resource to have
-The club is very spacious. There is plenty of space for the free weights, machine, and cardio. Even though, it can get very busy you can always find space to get your workout in.
-One of the manager, I believe his name is Dante, is awesome. We first met him when we signed up to join the club and ever since, he makes it a point to check-in with us and our progress whenever he sees us. He knows my husband and I (and our daughter) by name. And about a month ago, he sat down with us for about 30 minutes and helped us figure out our macros based our our individual fitness goals.
The bad -The lock-room and bathroom area is not well taken care of and this is something that is consistently bought up by multiple members.
-Kids Klub hours need to be extended. Right now the hours are M-F 8am - 12pm and 4pm - 9pm, and Sat 8am -12pm, and they are closed on Sundays.
-They need to update some of the equipment. They do not have kettle bell weights, and some of the equipments in the personal training area should be made available to the general public (such a ropes and weight balls).
Overall, I think this is a good gym that had the potential to be great which can be achieved by addressing the...
