Blu Cantina Camp Creek — Restaurant in East Point

Me and my friend went tonight and food and drinks were good minus, they could add another portion to egg rolls/empanada. Here is the issues could easily be fixed:

The door seemed to be locked around 6:50pm, I couldn't get in until an employee opened the door as he removed a cone by the door. So that was very odd! The server has very long faux locs way pass her butt (which were beautiful) but they were dangling. Which after working in room service & catering company for years, this is a huge NO! Anybody hair, man or female should be up and neat. I was nervous, her hair would sling into someone's food and our food.

I asked her a question about one of the margaritas, because I never heard of that name "teramana". Her quick response was tequila! Maybe she thought I was joking, as I didn't know if it was anything else, besides the 2 main components in margarita. But she seemed annoyed of a simple question, as I have never been here before nor heard of that. Maybe it would be helpful to have at least a guide of full description of food & beverage items for the servers to refer to; especially if someone maybe allergic to something.

4.We were on a corner, and I was bumped several times, one bump literally shifted my whole chair and the girl immediately apologized. My suggestion is to move over the table slightly to avoid that or remove that table as it's really not large restaurant.

Lastly, I think they needed more severs, the girl was running around not really attentive to us. It only like 3 servers, and runner and they had several large parties. And make sure tables is not sticky as ours felt like it has some residue on it.

I would try this place one more time as I did enjoy the food & house margarita was good. However, I would go "earlier in the day" as it was very busy, DJ played the music (which I loved the playlist) but it so loud my ears were ringing leaving. But hair certainly needs to be up, add more staff & look into refiguring the layout of the smaller tables in main dining area. I used to love this place last year! We would come on Fridays to see the lady DJ and it was so much fun!

They have switched things around this year and all change is not good change. The food is still on point so I was happy about that. They drizzle sauce on wings instead of dipping them in the sauce which took away some flavor but it was still good. Quesadillas were still amazing!

Hookah man only had 2 flavors and blueberry or margarita …. That was disappointing but I can make any flavor shake.

Now the drinks were the most inconsistent part of the night. We got two margarita pitchers (jolly rancher and strawberry), 3 strawberry lemon drops, and 2 amaretto sours. The pitchers were ok but the individual drinks were disappointing. Each of them were made differently. Mine was perfect that’s why it’s almost gone in the photo😊 but my sisters were both clear and the taste was absolutely awful! The amaretto sours were also inconsistent in flavor.

When we told them our concerns regarding the taste our waitress just stated that all sales are final so it didn’t matter we had to pay regardless. We got the manager involved and showed him all the drinks lined up and he saw the difference and stated he would only take off the Andretti sour but it’s just unfortunate about the others. So, I ended up mixing the drinks in with the pitcher to disguise the flavor and called it a night.

The waitress didn’t have good customer service at all. She came over and even though we had orders of food that was still not brought out she was like yall time limit coming up so yall gone have to get up. I just told her to cancel anything that wasn’t at the table and give us the tickets so we can go.

My cousins and I got seated and waited 30 minutes just for us to get greeted by our servicer. While waiting on her, we enjoyed the music however it was so way too loud to the point we just didn’t want to talk to each other because of the volume of the music. And when the waitress came, we could barely hear her and she could barely hear us to the point she had to sit in the booth with us just to hear us clearly.

30 minutes passed and we finally got our drinks but was highly dissatisfied. It was watered down and the waitress gave us an attitude once we stated we weren’t pleased with them and stated that she would take something off our bill for not only for the 30 minute wait but also the quality of the drinks, but the bill came she went back on her word, said she never said that and didn’t take anything off.

Everyone got the same thing, two house drinks (that we said we didn’t like and had to wait another 15 minutes just to talk to a manger about changing them out) My wings (without the fries and two drinks totaled out to be over $45 dollars. After waiting 20 minutes for the waiter again (who only had three other tables) Got an attitude with us because we seen we were overcharged but still made us pay without keeping her word and saying she would take something off due to the poor service.
