MARTA really needs to get it together. Lindbergh in particular needs some fine tuning. I was waiting on the Northbound train to Doraville. The screen and the automated announcer had me thinking it was four minutes away. They also told me that the North Springs train would arrived before Doraville.
Surely enough, a Northbound train arrived. The announcer and the screen said it was North Springs, so I let it pass.
Precisely four minutes later, a train I thought was Doraville arrived at Lindbergh. The announcer and the screen "verified" it. Only thing was, it wasn't the Doraville train, but the North Springs train. The trains were mixed up by the screens and the announcer. Basically, I got on the wrong train because of a malfunction.
This happens quite often. More than you may know. I was nearly late to work because of it. Seriously, MARTA. A lot of people rely on your trains and buses. You can't go around confusing them like that.
You're lucky I'm giving you two stars in this review. Do better, and I guarantee you I'll give you a better review.

MARTA, I meant it when I said I would give you a better review if you improved and did better. Unfortunately, MARTA has not improved. Not that I've noticed. The trains smell half the time, the delays are far too frequent, and the gates appear to malfunction half the time. I've been late to work because of MARTA..The Breeze and MARTA On The Go Apps have issues as well.
The Breeze App has declined my card too many times. And the One The Go App just loves to lag and lag and lag.
I won't outright say my time on MARTA was outright terrible. It can be reliable when it wants to be. But, there are too many notable issues that plague MARTA. I won't be taking MARTA anymore. With that said, I do hope it improves for...

They have buses running 45+ minutes behind in the middle of the night. I was robbed at a MARTA stop by gunpoint when the bus should have been came to get me 20 minutes prior. They don’t give a rat’s patootie about safety and will make their patrons walk 10+ miles home in the dead of night because they have no drivers and the drivers they do have can’t at all be on time for anything in the world. This company is making money hand over foot, and yet NO improvements whatsoever have been made to the service. It’s honestly ridiculous. Here I am sitting on this route that is 30 minutes late so this dude can stop and take a break. Like we don’t have anywhere to be. Ludicrous....
Read moreThis place is a COVID WAVE FOR ITSELF. I don't know who organizes these buses but they are off right now. I've seen about 6 buses #5 going empty but the #39 only 2 of them and packed. It's like the drivers are only doing the non busy routes. Please get it together. This is Atlanta not St. Petersburg. We have a lot more people. It is rush time so PLEASE we need more buses. Gwinnett transit is not charging their customers at least. You are currently charging us money and exposing us to a deadly virus because there are no buses where we need them.
