The food was good. The service was good. I didn't like sitting next to a table that was smoking hookah. I don't smoke and the smoke kept floating to our table. The restaurant was spacious and clean. There is ample parking at the Home Depot lot behind the building. We stopped a security guard to ask about parking. You could also valet in the parking deck. There are signs in the deck for the retail shops in the building saying you can park there if you are a patron, but the security guard said the signs were not being used. There are also signs in the Home Depot lot warning you not to park there. I would definitely ask about parking as the signs were confusing. The menu does not have a lot of food items on it and it says no substitutions, however, when I ordered the burger I was told they did not have shredded oxtails so the burger would not have that on it. Did I still want it? No. So, they can make substitutions, but you can't. Our server, Keemauri, was pleasant and accommodating. She did offer to make substitutions for us if needed. She said it would depend on what it was. The offer was kind. My friend got the oxtails and chicken egg rolls. I got seafood dip and veggie delight with shrimp. We both enjoyed our food. It took over thirty minutes to be prepared, but was hot and flavorful. We both agreed the egg rolls needed a dip. They were good, but that would have made them better. The seafood dip with homemade pita chips was awesome. My veggie delight was bland, but okay. I wouldn't get it again. I used the bathroom and it was not okay; towels on the floor, the toilet was actively leaking, and the floor and toilet were wet. It was a cute bathroom; decorated nicely with pretty rocks in the sink. It just needed to be e cleaned. There were two DJs on the night we went and both were really good. The music wasn't too loud either. We wanted dessert, but they don't have any on the menu. We shared a 16 ounce bottle of their homemade rum punch. It was really good.

Horrible experience, will never return nor recommend. Charged an entertainment fee of $10 then seated and could not see the live band- that's not good customer service knowing your customers will spend additional money on food and drinks. Let's get to that- the Jerk Chicken eggs rolls are very dry and the vegetables are lightly steamed. Therefore, dry and stiff egg rolls, ugh. The black rice and whatever "vegetable medley" that is was disgusting. I ordered a caesar salad and a garden salad with caesar dressing came. I never touched it and told them they can take it back, they don't take food back or off your tab if it touches the table, apparently. The drinks were weak even though our server stated she told the bartender to make them strong, both times. I didn't even get a little buzz. The last straw was when the Manager decided to come to the table and ask what was wrong with the salad. I told him it's not a caesar salad. He proceeds to go back and forth stating that's how their caesar salad is. No apology, no comp, no "I hope you had a good experience other than the salad", nothing but him coming over to go back and forth with a customer- unprofessional. All in all, this establishment is a "cash grab" restaurant. Tbey want your money and don't care about your experience. These people must be Americans trying to cook Caribbean/African inspired food, and they are failing miserably. The only good things were the live band (not associated with the restaurant) and the server was pleasant. FYI- Valet parking is $10.

H O R R I B L E! Besides the entrance being very dark and abandoned, the food wasn't worth the price. We decided to celebrate a friend's business lunch here (8/4/21) and it was very unpleasant. There were 3 tables and took very long for us to get our food including bar items. The egg rolls were okay. The seafood dip was good. The crab cakes, $20, were overcooked and consist of more bread then crab meat. I shouldn't have ordered after my crab cakes tasted like hell but I did and instantly regretted it. The salmon was dry and the mashed potatoes were extremely bland. The penne for the rasta pasta was overcooked. The jerk chicken looked as if it was baked chicken with LOADS of jerk sauce piled on top. The food presentation was just as bad as the food. Unfortunately, you cannot return food so my dog ate $30 salmon. The good side: The other ladies did enjoy their drinks. The waitress Fatima was extremely nice and personable. The host was also very nice and apologized for our experience. I also tried the Lithonia location it was slightly better. I would not recommend and I'll be completing a full video review on YouTube. Very disappointed

I usually don't write reviews but I had a very bad 1st experience here Friday night. I went for a friend's Birthday. I was one of the first people to arrive and was really looking forward to celebrating this friend and having 1 drink after having a crazy week. I really wanted to unwind. Well the drink never came. I waited on the rest of the party to arrive (about 9 of us) and finally had the opportunity to order my drink and food. The waitress said she was ordering the items in order but everyone's items came out randomly. I received my entree with other people's appetizers and about 5 of the other ladies in our parties drinks came out at the same time before any of their food. Well about 35 minutes into my meal I asked about the drink and was told the bartender was behind because she was alone but I'll be getting it shortly. Well that was understandable, but an hour later I asked again since I've now seen others serviced drinks and was told the same thing. About an hour and a half into waiting I asked a (gentlemen) waiter who seem to be addressing others issues and he told me that I would not have to pay for my drink but the bartender is new and they will be coming right out. At this point another person sitting directly next to me in my party had received a 2nd drink. This logic made no sense to me. I've also seen people around at other tables get their drinks as well. In fact the Birthday girl had 3 drinks sitting and was drinking 1. At this point I'm really steaming but trying to keep it together because it was my friend's Birthday Celebration and was not about me. And I didn't want to cause attention. But I had been waiting over 2 hours in total not being checked on regarding my drink. This was horrible service. And when I asked for my receipt (because I was furious and ready to go) in the end my waitress asked if I received my drink as if she was going to charge me. I'm usually a very patient person and I was trying so hard not to call a manager over because I didn't want my Birthday friend to worry, but this was such a horrible experience. I will say the band was good. The woman who was singing really engaged the crowd and made sure the people who had birthdays were celebrated. And the food was good but would have been better...

We’ve come here every single time we come to ATL bc we come from out of town. I know how restaurants are in this area so we usually don’t trip too much over pricing. So here’s where they fall. We’ve been here 4 times. 1x my and my hubby and 3x with family. This 3rd time we came with my in laws. We noticed the price coming up a bit last time but we got a good amount of food with it, but this time was this place was such trash. The food was at least 26$ a plate with minimal serving. The last time we came here and ordered the jerk meal we got a full quarter leg and then some. This time we got a drum stick and a piece of unidentifiable part of the chicken. Ntm our server was very short and curt. Which we’ve noticed they have a high turner over of servers but each time we came they were so nice and jovial. This guy was unhappy he was here, short with us and rude. Me and my SIL didn’t get our plates and when we mentioned it he forgot about bringing my plate even tho it was ready and he told my sis that “she never said that but I’ll place the order” for her order when she definitely did bc we all heard her. But maybe he didn’t here her over the attitude he had when he came but regardless, do better. ATL already has a bad rep for the restaurants here and we kinda let it slide with this place bc we’re a mixed culture family with Caribbean roots but I can tell you also from NY with the best Jamaican food none of this food would be this over priced and under quality. So maybe clean up the fluctuations a bit and be more consistent and you may have better reviews/customers. Bc every time we come it be a lil bit of people in there. One thing I don’t like that’s really affects this place is lack of consistency. The staff changes, the food changes, the menu changes. This isn’t good for business alone but for me I’m not coming to a place to spend money and not know what I’m getting each time. We dropped $270 here on meals and drinks but rest assured after last night, we not doing again for a restaurant that doesn’t work with its consumers and doesn’t provide consistency. Not...

This was my first visit to this restaurant. The reason for three stars was because of Bianca's exceptional and patient service . She was attentive and handled all concerns promptly. However, my areas of concern were surrounding the food and the payment at the end of the visit.

Food: I ordered oxtails only to learn they were sold out at 8pm on a Wednesday night. The reason why I say this is because the restaurant was empty and it's a Caribbean restaurant. Therefore, this dish should be a priority especially if they have on the menu. However, I followed up with the salmon dish. Don't order!!!! The salmon is not worth the price. The portion of salmon was slither which was unacceptable for the $28 price point. Don't order this otherwise you will be hungry. The rum punch was $13 in a whiskey glass. But it was strong! The chef had challenges cooking the lamb chops to medium well temperature where it was sent back twice and when it returned the last time was cooked by microwave. The crab cakes cust was burned and the pasta came out cold and had to be sent back also for warming. I would recommend that this company reevaluate their price point according to the portion and quality of the food.

My last issue is in reference to the company having the ability to split checks but chooses not to which causes an inconvenience to customer as it's known most people use credit or debit cards to make purchases. Therefore, it's tacky and a hassle to the client to make them break down the bill at the table. This company has hand held devices and it ridiculous to continue this outdated practice in this environment. I would recommend that they work with the merchant service company to figure out how they can reduce the cost of their transactions per ticket. This is the only reason I could assume they don't allow tickets to be split given they have the technology to do so.

Overall, the environment was nice but on a Wednesday night with only three parties to service we should been provided...
