Massage Heights Buckhead — Attraction in Atlanta

If can give a negative star I would. I drove 2 hours to have a girls day spa with my best friend at this place. We get here, sign in, I run to the bathroom real quick, come to get ready for my massage but to my disappointment was advised that I would not be getting a massage because the massage table that I was supposed to go to broke and they have no more rooms. They advised I can reschedule for another day but I don’t live here. Granted they didn’t know that but your equipment is that tore up that it breaks and your system is that backed up that there is no more available slots for the day and the place is that small that there’s no more rooms or staff available? And I see they do cancellations at the last minute a lot because there was another lady sitting in the waiting room before me and they cancelled her appointment after already rescheduling her for the 2nd time and of course she was pissed too. Mediocre atmosphere with mediocre service with busted down equipment and no staff or rooms to handle a large volume. DO NOT RECOMMEND

UPDATE: Since I was going to pay for my friends and mine massage I requested for the massage service for my friend be comped due to the inconvenience and they will be comping my friend. Although I didn’t get a massage I’m glad my friend did for her birthday but I still have a sour taste on not getting a massage. I was looking forward to a relaxing stress relief but I guess that will never happen at Massage Heights. If you’re ever in Augusta go to Rose Water Spa. Their equipment...

I am only leaving 2 stars because my boyfriend enjoyed his massage. I went to this location for a couple’s massage with my boyfriend and my experience was sub par. The therapists both seemed super nice when we met them however once in the room I realized mine was less thorough than my boyfriend’s with asking questions and explaining what to do (both before and after the massage). The hot stone additive was almost used as a substitute to perform a thorough massage on my lower extremities. My legs and feet were barely massaged, but hot stones were rubbed over them, and my hands were skipped all together. I have had a few massages before and this was by far my least favorite. The only resolution they offered to make this better was for me to pay the same “intro rate” and come in to see another therapist. Considering I feel like I wasted my money the first go around I don’t think I’m willing to risk it again. Overall I’d say read reviews for which therapists to go to. I told them we were celebrating our anniversary and I was told we got two of the best therapists so again, taking their word for it isn’t always the best idea. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

UPDATE: After months no resolution has been reached, just a bunch of phone tag and an offer to pay the EXACT same amount to return again. As if that’s a reasonable offer to resolve the issue. Highly DO NOT recommend. Would give 0 stars if that...

I decided to try this location because found it on groupon. I experienced an surprisely disappointing massage service at Massage Heights Buckhead. Despite arriving on time and scheduling two 60-minute massages, the massage was abruptly terminated after only 36 minutes.

Afterwards I address the issue with the front desk and i was informed that a therapist had a family emergency and needed to take an early break. While I understand emergencies happen, I was not adequately compensated for the shortened massage duration. The front desk attendant attempted to sell me a massage package without completely addresses my concerns, further adding to my dissatisfaction. I have previously services from similar chains like Hand and Stone, and I have never encountered such a drastic reduction in massage time without prior notice or the option to reschedule. I may consider trying a different Massage Heights location, but I am hesitant to do so after this negative experience.

Note: when we checked in the front desk said they were running behind and proceed to take her time walking us through the checkin form. Not one mention about out massage being cut short. Everyone was casual and didnt give any prior indication of cutting it off early.... The staff was pleasant in demeanor but lackluster in on addressing my concerns..... In this economic climate money usage matters. We work hard...
