If it wasn’t for Shamina and me being so comfortable with her performing my laser I wouldn’t even come back to this place. Shamina is very kind and knowledgeable and that’s the only reason why I go to Dermani Medspa. Now on to the cons........ The front desk staff are some of the most incompetent individuals I’ve ever seen in my life. Cat compared the laser membership to a gym membership to justify why they double charged me for the same service after she literally looked me in my face & stated my account would be frozen to ensure I am not double charged. Ive been coming here for almost a year now. When I first started my membership I was informed the membership could be froze at anytime if something happen, as I’m sure other individuals have as well. Due to my hair growth my aesthetician start requiring me to be seen at 5 weeks which meant if for whatever reason I couldn’t make my appointment and had to reschedule my payments would be drafted right behind each other, so I would always be a month ahead on payments. I informed Cat of this and she told me she would freeze the account so this wouldn’t happen as I explained to her I’ve been double charged before in the past by Dermani Medspa in another situation. Long and behold, on draft day I received an alert a payment was drafted so this let me know my account wasn’t frozen. Remember I said this woman literally looked me in my face and lied to me and said she had froze my account before I left their establishment on Friday. For whatever reason Cat came up with this non logical excuse comparing the membership to a gym membership stating a gym membership charges you monthly no matter if you come or not so that’s how their membership work, when in fact it’s not how it work and there is no direct correlation between the two. Then she went on to say in order to freeze an account it would have to been done within 30 days, Mind you she never stated any of this on Friday and at this point I believe she was just saying anything just to sound like she knew what she was talking about but she clearly doesn’t. I will say, when I spoke to Brianna on Saturday she was apologetic about the situation and offered me 2 months of credit for my inconvenience but from the conversation I had with Cat I can assume that’s not going to happen. Anyway, I said all of this to say if you’re in a monthly membership with these people pay attention to your drafts or you’ll end up overpaying and get stupid answers with no real solutions. Also, Dermani Medspa please train your front desk staff on how to properly address and handle billing issues because after a while it becomes annoying and very inconvenient for...
Read moreI feel compelled to share my experience with Dermani Medspa, and it is not a positive one. In fact, I've encountered multiple issues that have left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. Firstly, I experienced burns on three separate occasions during my visits to Dermani Medspa. The first time, they failed to adequately cover my tattoo, resulting in an injury that left me in considerable discomfort. You would expect such an establishment to take utmost care and precaution to avoid such mishaps. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The second incident was equally disheartening. After my tattoo was supposedly covered more carefully, I still ended up with another burn on the same area, which is beyond unacceptable. But the most baffling of all was the third instance, where I sustained burns on my shoulders, an area that wasn't even the focus of the laser treatment I was undergoing. This negligence is inexcusable. To make matters worse, the process of addressing these issues has been a harrowing experience in itself. We did manage to come up with a solution to rectify these injuries, but it has now been over a month without any updates. I have sent numerous emails and made multiple phone calls, only to receive vague responses like "We will have an update soon" or "We will reach out to you."These empty promises have led to nothing but frustration and further disappointment. The lack of communication and failure to provide any substantial resolution has wasted not only my money but also an immense amount of my time and emotional energy. As a customer who expected professional service, I am deeply disappointed and disheartened by my experiences at...
Read moreI visit Dermani Medspa in Buckhead roughly once a month to see Jennifer Echevarria. I get some combination of IPL, laser hair removal, microneedling, and/or hydra facials-so the works-whenever I visit! Jennifer is very professional and knowledgeable about services and products. During services, she has a calm, professional demeanor and figures out the best way to organize the various services I'm getting. She has gentle hands, is very thorough, and efficient (she puts me in zen mode with her relaxing touch during facial cleansing before services). Jennifer also provides good advice during services and talks about what she is doing to you as she goes through the service, if that is something you prefer. She is also always friendly; it feels like visiting a friend. After the service, she always recommends good skincare products to incorporate into my daily/nightly routines (if needed) to supplement the services I'm getting to ensure lasting results; I have seen many improvements in my skin since visiting her. Staff up front are always friendly as well; everyone working creates a positive experience here.
I've been getting laser hair removal for years, and I'm very satisfied with staff and service here. IPL was new to me when I first visited, but it was worth it to get rid of the freckles on my shoulders-awesome results! Microneedling also has great results. Going once a month, I really see improvements in the quality and brightness of my skin. There is a bit of a "recovery" time once you get the service that staff will explain, but if you're looking for plumper skin, reduced pores/wrinkles, and overall brightening of the face, then...
