I messaged about my 17 year old daughter's phone that she made several trips from Alex City to Auburn to have repaired and you guys still hadn't fixed it, so it required my husband to go with her to attempt to get the problem solved and even after he came you still didn't have the parts to fix it. She paid over $300 in advanced weeks prior to the original parts actually arriving, then having to wait another week for an antenna you guys messed up to ship and her phone be repaired. I still have not gotten a response to my message asking was her phone available for pick up. Good thing I had a back up phone for her to use during all of this and she was able to call and make ANOTHER trip to actually pick up the phone. That is not how business should be handled. Seems to me that since she was a teenager you guys tried to take advantage of her. I had a phone repaired 3 or 4 years ago at the same location and we were able to pick it up within 2 hours and did not have to pay until we picked up and verified that the phone did in fact work. However, she was charged the full price for parts and repairs ahead of time and still had to wait a month before her phone was fully repaired. I don't know about anyone else but in my eyes that is TERRIBLE business practices!
First visit 3/17/19-- she was told what it would take to fix her phone, but not that she needed to pay ahead of time before the parts would even be ordered.
2nd visit 3/25/2019-- she went back because she had to pay for the repairs and parts to be ordered. This included a new screen for s8 and microphone. Parts were ordered. Was told it would be ready for pick up on the following Sunday.
3rd visit 3/31/2019-- She goes to pick up the phone. Microphone is repaired, but the wrong screen was ordered. She was told to bring it back to have the fixed. Being the teenager she is, she did not check to make sure the phone worked before she left. It would not get service. My husband calls on Monday and is told we need to bring it back(had to anyways to get the screen fixed) apparently during the repair of the microphone the employee messed up the antenna. At this point we are all frustrated. LUCKILY, I had just gotten a new phone and was able to loan her my old one.
3rd visit 3/31/2019-- Myself, my husband and daughters go this trip. At this point I am beyond fed up and decide its probably best for me not to go into the store with them and I am so glad I didn't. The employee informs my husband that the screen is there, but the antenna will not be until Wednesday and if we leave the phone they will call when it is ready to be picked up.
I messaged the company via Facebook 4/4/2019 since we had not received a phone call. (I have yet to get a response)
4/5/2019 daughter calls and they tell her it is ready for pick up.
4th and final visit-- 4/14/2019-- phone is finally fully repaired and back in her possession.
We live 48 miles away. That is 384 miles total for the repair of a phone. The only reason we chose your company is because we had such a good experience previously. After the way this transaction was handled we will not recommend IFix and Repair--Auburn Mall...
Read moreIf I could leave no stars I would. I went here on Thursday of last week due to errors with my charging port causing my phone not to charge, aside from the charging port my phone was working completely fine. The guy working that day told me he’s going to “tune the charging port” and it’ll take an hour and a half. I sat in the store for about 30 minutes and during that there were two separate people that came in for new screens because theirs were shattered. I noticed he was working on my phone for a minute, he took the screen off and then sat my phone aside and starting working on other people’s screen repairs. I ended up leaving for about an hour and then came back to pick up my phone. When it was ready he showed me that my phone was charging and was essentially “fixed”. So I go to unlock it and first thing I noticed is that the noise was delayed and for some reason the right side of my screen isn’t working, I couldn’t even type in my password to unlock my phone. I try bringing this to his attention and first thing he says to me is “you need a new screen” so immediately I can he messed up my phone on purpose trying to get more money out of me. I go back and forth with him and he’s persistent that it was an issue on my end even though I had absolutely no issues with the screen beforehand. I end up going to another phone repair place in the area to fix the issue he caused and when they opened up my phone, they found random pieces of glass that he left in there from other people’s phones that he was fixing when he set mine down carelessly. So now I’m down $270 because I had to pay to get the charging port fixed and then on top of that had to go somewhere else for them to try and fix the other issues he caused. My phone was too far gone after that so I ended up having to buy a new phone after all the issues even though it should have been a simple fix to the charging port. Please save the stress, your time, and money and never go here, I recommend UBreakIFix in the...
Read moreY'all get ready for a story because this place really screwed me over! I went in to get my screen repaired, they fixed the phone but hours later the screen went black and wouldn't come back, I took it back in and told me they were going to get me another new screen but they didn't have anymore for almost a week, when I went back a week later, after they got a new screen, they said the screen was not the actual issue and it was a backlight problem and told me to come back in a few days (they never even tried to see if it was a different problem). I went back and they told me it was a different problem and it would be a few more days (now its been about 2 weeks) I went back (i had to go in to the store every time because well I don't have a phone to call and they kept telling me it would be ready) and they told me the phone is unsalvageable and I probably lost everything and that they would "try" to get me a new phone because the part they broke could only be found on the black market (not sketchy at all). I go back in (now week 3 without a phone) and they bring me someones old iPhone 5, even though i had a 6, with scratches that needed to be jailbroken, haha no, I was furious to say the least and would not accept it. Another week goes by (now a month without a phone) and they finally got me a new phone (this could have been done the very first day) and later I realized it was less GBs than my original phone but I was tired of dealing with them. Throughout this whole tragic experience they were sending me from store to store just to chase someone down who knew what was going on with my phone and anytime there was a new revelation with the phone they would make me feel guilty about trying to fix it even though it was blatantly their problem. Anyway do not go here for anything, if you're phone is broken you are better off just...
