Open for about four years now, was so glad to find this spot!
Some customers have commented on the customer service, or lack of. However my experience proved to be five star worthy with friendly young girl behind the counter.
LOVE the decor and ambiance. With its loft seating upstairs, it makes for a cozy, yet modern, experience. I don't know what charmed me more: the comfy, padded chairs upstairs, or the sleek white tables and chairs downstairs.
At 40 cents an ounce, there are six flavors. From what I can recall:
Vanilla Chocolate California tart (Yay! Like Euro, but not as tart perhaps? Us Californians are friendlier. LOL.) Fruit sorbet (reminiscent of tropical fruits) Pumpkin spice Blackberry
All were very good and had the perfect consistency. Toppings-wise, you had pretty typical toppings. The fruit toppings did not look so fresh, however - I didn't bother with the blueberries. Popping boba was a hit with the girls as well as the kids books upstairs.
I'd go out of my way to come...
Read moreYummy frozen yogurt, and generally has a nice atmosphere, I've been going here for years, it's only recently I've had a bad experience. I'm a weekly customer... They normally have really nice and helpful staff, but avoid the owner, she's kinda rude, and will send you packing if you aren't buying anything right away. I often really enjoy sitting near Tangos to eat lunch and then I get Frozen yogurt after I'm done, it's a nice little place. But the owner had me leave the area near her place because I was still eating my lunch... That's my biggest complaint, like I would totally understand if they had been busy at the time, but they weren't at all, so I felt it was kinda unkind and made me frustrated, they probably won't see me in there for a while now, I'm really disappointed. I hope she can get that figured out, or she might lose more people than she gets. Other than that tho, it's typically a nice place. Would recommend it, just don't relax and hang out there before or after, you might...
Read moreI have frequented tango many times. Yogurt's okay. Ambiance is nice. However the owner Lisa is impossible to get a hold of. In fact I was informed by the girl behind the counter that she is not allowed to give out any contact information for the owner. The gal behind the counter did call Lisa after several prompts from me, to which I overheard who I presume was Lisa say I don't have time for that. The girls behind the counter have always been very nice, it's unfortunate that Lisa the owner does not have time to speak with those frequent her establishment. Luckily for her and her schedule I will no longer be bringing my children to Tango's. It's not a good feeling to feel disrespected from a local business when there are so many other businesses out there who know how to treat...
