If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We spent our new years eve with a 15 year old being FBI agents saving the Wiseguy Express. I cannot say enough good about this experiance. The owners were some of the nicest business owners I've met. We had the absolute best time with so many laughs. The amount of time these game masters put into making this a great time is just mind boggling. You could easily tell that their main concern was making sure we had a great time. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms!

UPDATE* We are making this our New Years Eve tradition. 2 years in a row we have spent here and I simply cannot say enough good things about the owners, the rooms and the experiance. We did the toy maker room this year and it was definitely creepy and jumpy, but not too scary. Perfect in every way! *

UPDATED UPDATE* I took my nephew and niece (11 and 8 years old respectively) to their first ever escape room to "case of the missing pet" and I have created monsters. They cannot wait to go back and try the harder rooms. They both said they had the best day. Nephew, who is the most honest person in the world, rated it 9.8 out of 10. Niece gave...

What a treat this place was! We started a new Mother’s Day tradition in 2023 to do an escape room each year. I’ve done escape rooms all over Maine and New Hampshire (probably somewhere around 30 or so rooms), so I wasn’t really sure where we would go to get a new one. A quick google search brought me to Escape Augusta. This one is one of my favorites now! I was VERY impressed given the amount of time they’ve been open! We spoke in depth with one of the owners who (in my opinion) was quite humble considering the masterpiece they put together on try #1 of their establishment. Also- You don’t see rooms for kids very often either, so I can’t wait to come back with my son and nephews to try the missing pet room! Not only was the room really well decorated and thought out, but the riddles, clues and mechanics were really clever as well (we did the secrets of the toy maker)!! 5/5 stars! Cant wait to come back and try out the other rooms and see what new ones come in the...

My wife and I like to do escape rooms together as a treat. We keep fairly detailed records of elements we like and dislike about all the rooms we do. We have currently only done "Wise Guy Express" at this establishment, but it it easily one of our top 10.

The unfortunate thing about leaving reviews on escape rooms is that you can't say too much because you don't want to give anything away. But I can say...

The room's decorations were great! The whole thing feels like your are riding a train.

The puzzles were fun and unique without being too insanely difficult.

There are old timey costume bits you can use for attire for the duration of your escape!

Lately, the owners are lovely, kind, and very intelligent. I can't wait to see the other...

From the moment you drive into the parking lot the excitement starts to build. The building is beautiful and unique. Your first impression upon entering their space tells you they have done things in a first class way. The room feels authentic and the puzzle is clever and challenging. Loved the owners, loved the surroundings and loved the puzzle. Do not hesitate to take several people with you. There is enough for 4 or 5 people to do. Best wishes to Escape Augusta.
