The Cosmetic Company Store at the Aurora Premium Outlets is hands down the most disrespectful and unprofessional retail experience Iâve ever had. I came in with my mom, sister, and husband to purchase lipsticks, and instead of being treated like valued customers, we were treated with blatant rudeness, arrogance, and humiliation.
The cashier, Clarissa, along with another tall, light-skinned brown hair cashier, acted as if we were a problem rather than paying customers. Clarissa enforced a so-called âruleâ that customers cannot hand a card to one another to complete their own purchases. This is completely absurd. Every single one of us had our own card â the only reason the cards were in my wallet was for convenience. Iâve shopped at multiple Cosmetic Company Store locations in other states and have never once been told something so outrageous.
The most disrespectful moment came when light skin brown hair looked at my sister, who was paying with her own card, and said: âNo, I donât think you can buy more because youâve already bought too much.â That comment was not only unprofessional â it was degrading, humiliating, and spoken in front of other customers. We were publicly embarrassed and ultimately denied our purchase.
At the end of the day, we came in ready to give this company business. Instead, the staff chose to disgrace and disrespect us. Clarissaâs behavior was rude, condescending, and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be treated this way.
Unless you want to be humiliated and disrespected while spending your hard-earned money, I would strongly advise staying away from this location. I wouldnât even give this store a one...
Read moreWent to buy my favorite color MAC lip gloss and I noticed it wasnât out on the floor. I asked the lady (Sheila) that was working behind the counter for my color and she had it available behind the counter.
I like to stock up because I donât get out much due to a physical disability. So I asked to purchase (4). She rudely responded NO that I canât have that quantity.
I asked why? She replied... your buying them to resell them. I asked her... what are you taking about?
She said, they donât sell the products for customers like me to come buy large quantities and resell them.
I told her that I donât have the ability and wouldnât think of reselling them because itâs my favorite color and I have a hard time getting out because I canât walk a lot due to my physical issues.
She muffled... Iâll sell you (2) but thatâs all I will sell you. I couldnât believe what I was hearing!!!!!
Arenât they in business to sell makeup, skin care, perfumes and any other beauty products they carry in their store?
What business is it for hers on how many I want to purchase to stock up on my favorite color lip gloss?
Who cares on the quantities that the consumer wants? If they want the sale to make money than they shouldnât be so nasty and ugly about people buying more than (1) quantity!
Unbelievably RUDE!!! And quite frankly she didnât give a damn that I was trying to stock up to make it easier on me since I canât get the mall very often!!!
My advice..... RUN!
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND DO NOT GIVE THEM THE BUSINESS.!!!
Itâs quite clear that they donât appreciate and care about sales and the consumer that pays for...
Read moreThe staff sucks. two years ago I went and a lady (jeni?) was there and she was helpful, these last two times she was very lazy and not only that she lied. we asked about some products and she gave wrong answer (made up) for example there was an aveda mask and she said it was for hair and that she has been using it and it was great, turns out if was a face mask. The same with other hair products. The worst was that we bought some eyeliners and she changed, we bought 4: blue, black, brown and sepia. she changed for two golden... we saw her changing , we asked and she said those were testers or something and she showed one to us, we didn't verified. PLEASE DO VERIFY she gave us cheaper pencils and not what we wanted. There is another lady, o my god. I don't know if they get a commission for selling but she tried to sell us thing we didn't want but she was not able to recommend thing we want or asked. Finally, we bought a lot and they only gave us 3 samples. They completely suck. So you should go with time and look on your phone for information, take your time and buy what you want, ignore them as much as possible, and when paying check carefully what they are doing, and stop them if necessary to double check your products. And ask for your free samples , they are very useful to try...
