My daughter and I came here for the first time today. We had stopped at Denny's on Havana first and when we went in, the couple ahead of us was told there was going to be a 30 minute wait, then another waitress chimed in and said "More like 45 minutes." They asked the couple if they wanted to wait, and they said yes, then the older waitress threw her hands up and looked at the other waitress like she was annoyed. The couple looked at each other and walked out. And the waitress said "I told you. Anywhere you go today it's going to be like this since it's Memorial Day." On that note, my daughter and I walked out too since she was apparently trying to deter customers from eating there. So we stopped here at IHOP, were seated right away, and everyone was so friendly! Didn't take the food long at all, and our pancakes were so pretty lol. My 10 yr old said to me, "I really like our waitress, she has chill vibes and is so nice, you better leave her a good tip." 😄 I was still in a pre-coffee fog when we came in, so I unfortunately can't remember her name 😩 I understand it's a holiday, I appreciate people who have to work on holidays, and we did not mind having to wait because we reeaaaally wanted breakfast food, but we were basically being ran off from Denny's. Not cool at all! IHOP, your employees are amazing and we will continue to come here 🥰 Picture of our...
Read moreCame here with a few brothers from church. The place is clean & modern.
What made my experience noteworthy and has me taking the time to write this review though is the exceptional service from our waitress/server Shania.
I have Celiac disease and asked about potential options. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything that was gluten free and how it was all prepped.
Although they do have gluten free pancakes they are cooked on the same flat top so for someone like me the cross contamination risk was too high to be able to order.
I would rather have a waitress like Shania who is knowledgeable about the process and honest enough to mention the potential risk keeping me from getting sick; as opposed to a lot of places where the wait staff have no idea and say something is safe only to get me sick.
Not to mention her positive attitude and overall general and personal/caring customer service.
If the store manager or franchisee reads this, she absolutely deserves some praise & a raise. As it's staff like her that take what would otherwise be an unmemorable visit & turn it into one that is refreshing and more than enjoyable time.
Especially so for someone like me, because a valuable employee such as her can be the difference between me leaving sick as a dog & having a great time, worthy of a 5 star review.
Thank you...
Read moreFirst entered establishment I guess the lady was the manager have no idea, but I'm pretty sure she was I'm sorry but I usually don't talk about people, and the way they dress ,but this lady needs to take more pride in her appearance, if indeed she was the manger, and even if not have some pride in your appearance. Second seated my man ordered coffee which he said was nasty, and watered down, didn't bring no silverware I literally had to go get so he could stir his coffee he ordered blue berry pancakes I ordered 2×2×2 which was 2 eggs over easy 2 bacon 2 pancakes my husband said his was good my pancakes were cold butter 2 round pieces didn't even melt just sat ontop ,because everything was cold eggs weren't cooked long enough bacon burnt and I had to ask for silverware, and then ontop of all that we were seated by a couple where the man was continually coughing, and finally the waitress gave us the people's bill behind us which I had to tell her.this was horrible from the time we walked through the front door of this IHOP. I'm sorry but this establishment needs to take pride in their own appearance, and pride in the food they are cooking for their customers like my husband said it was like were were entering a greasy spoon establishment...
