Heirlooms Antique Mall — Attraction in Aurora

I have come to this antique mall both before and after the current owners. World of difference in terms of the customer service, selection/variety of offerings. I have always had EXCELLENT service since the ownership changed hands last August - 2015. If you didn't have a good experience before it is time to try it again. You'll be impressed. It used to be like the antiques mall down the street off Hampden near Yosemite, where no one cared if you walked in the door or not. It is not like that now and the owners are truly caring and considerate of their clientele and will make a call to see if a better price can be obtained from the vendor if need be. You are greeted when you walk in and I never feel like I am not welcome in this store. Please, don't judge by the old way, come in and give it another look. Jewelery, rough/raw crystals/minerals, knives, county'ish decor items, old records, mexican crafts, mission style furniture, hoosier cabinets, quality rugs, books, kitchenware, and industrial pieces perfect for that rough and vintage look. Scott (the store owner) and the entire staff are the most welcoming and hospitable individuals! I am a film student and who was seeking an antique store to film in. I asked 15 local antique stores. They were the only ones who agreed. Scott let us film in his space from 5:00-11:00 PM for three nights. We were expecting to pay a pretty good fee to film there but he insisted he didn’t need any compensation. He is the most cooperative and giving person I have ever worked with. Not to mention, the store itself is PHENOMENAL!! So many cool things to look at. My crew was getting distracted because of all the unique antiques. I got a good majority of my Christmas shopping done there. All very reasonably priced. The store was very organized. You can tell Scott and everyone who works their love what they do. You will ALWAYS be greeted with a smile. I highly highly recommend visiting...

UPDATE: After reading the owner's response, it appears that I am the suspicious one!! I sincerely apologize for misjudging you! Perspective is everything. Thank you for your response! Happy New Year! This place is great! They have a variety of items from albums to furniture to knick knacks to glassware to jewelry, etc. They have a main floor and a basement full of treasures, just waiting for you to take home. The staff are friendly, but the owner or manager, I think is suspicious by nature and buzzes around the shop checking people and things out. I can't say I blame him though. We got some great items there, including a modern looking glass triangular bowl (very heavy), a vintage purple glass ginger jar with an iris on it, and a VW bus CHRISTmas ornament. I think most prices of things I looked at were reasonnable. I would highly recommend this...
