Terrible Experience - Avoid Luxury Day and Spa at All Costs!
I recently had the misfortune of visiting Luxury Day and Spa, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I am writing this review to spare anyone else from enduring the horrendous experience I had at this establishment. Here are five compelling reasons why you should never set foot in this place:
Complete Rip-Off: Prepare to be fleeced! Luxury Day and Spa have mastered the art of overcharging their customers for subpar services. Despite being a low-end nail salon situated in a mall, they shamelessly demand nearly $80 for a pedicure service. You can find far superior services at a fraction of the price elsewhere.
Fungal Infection History: If you value your health and well-being, stay away! Luxury Day and Spa has an alarming track record of inducing fungal infections in their clients. Their negligence in maintaining proper hygiene standards is downright appalling. You'll be putting yourself at risk by subjecting your skin and nails to their unsanitary practices.
Dip Nail Disaster: Don't expect your nails to last beyond a week! Luxury Day and Spa's dip nail services are an absolute disaster. The nail coating starts chipping off within days, leaving you with a sloppy and unprofessional appearance. It's clear they lack the expertise and attention to detail necessary for providing a long-lasting and quality manicure.
Gel Polish Peeling: Say goodbye to your gel polish in no time! Luxury Day and Spa's lack of professionalism extends to their application of gel polish. They cut corners by skipping the essential gel polish base layer, resulting in a complete peeling off of the polish after just one week. Save yourself the frustration and seek a reliable nail salon that understands proper application techniques.
Overpriced Mediocrity: Luxury Day and Spa embodies the epitome of mediocrity wrapped in an exorbitant price tag. Their services fall far below the standards you would expect for the prices they charge. Don't be fooled by their fancy name; they are nothing more than a money-making machine, preying on unsuspecting customers who deserve better.
In conclusion, Luxary Day and Spa is a place to avoid at all costs. They will take your money, compromise your health, and provide you with shoddy nail services. There are countless other nail salons out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and value for money. Spare yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere for a truly luxurious and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first visit to Luxury nails and spa and was given a warm greeting upon arrival. They were ready to begin servicing me right at my scheduled appointment time. Throughout the entire process which included two technicians servicing me simultaneously, one performing the manicure and the other the pedicure, I inquired what the differences was between a regular Mani Pedi and a deluxe Mani Pedi. Each tech calmly and thoroughly explained the differences and also recommended and sampled colors, patterns and designs for nail art etc. The whole process ran smoothly. Even as I explained my reservations with having a bad experience elsewhere using gel nail polish which is set using a UV light of sorts she even retrieved a UV light device to show me that it was safe and secure. At the end of my session I was given ten percent off for my upcoming birthday and was exited with gratitude with the only exception being not even eight hours after returning home did one of my nails polish come halfway off. I was told that the gel polish doesn't chip and lasted longer than regular polish. I will return today to inquire whether someone can fix it hopefully free of charge as the wear of the polish hadn't even exceeded a whole twenty four hour period. All in all I would recommend this establishment to others given the fact that I don't believe the mishap I experienced was anywhere near done intentionally for repeat service.
Update: Upon returning to the spa today which was the day after I received services I entered and asked to speak to a manager and she quickly came to assist me. I retrieved my receipt but was told it wasn't needed because she remembered me from yesterday. That alone solidified or at least made me feel seen, heard and validated. Knowing that I wasn't just another face being rushed in and out like a revolving door speaks to the attentiveness and rapport the staff at luxury nails and spa strives to develop with their clientele. Given that SOME establishments can service someone for months even years and never know the names of their repeat customers let alone a first timer like me. I explained my delimma and was accommodated immediately and without any additional charge. Same degree of service and left with the same initial degree of satisfaction. Will definitely be a returning client in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible place. Do not go here!!! I got a fill & a color change with french tip style and paid $130!! never at any salon have I ever paid that much! They said french tip design is $35 extra for both my hands and feet! Ridiculous! Not to mention, the entire time I was there the technician doing my hands was arguing with another technician several times. They were loud and didnāt think anything was wrong with their behavior. I was extremely uncomfortable and it was very unprofessional. The technician that was arguing did my toes and she did okay. The technican doing my hands⦠ridiculous. She was a nice lady but obviously lacked skill. My toes were fine but my hands⦠horrible!! I was left with crooked french design, and uneven shaping on all my hands. I was constantly communicating what I wanted fixed or adjusted and the technician just couldnāt get it right! Also, I had previous acrylic overlay on my nails and the technician didnāt drill all of it down and itās very visible on my nails. I communicated this twice and the technician proceeded to tell me it would be ācovered upā with the base layer.. it was not!! French tip is a very popular design and shouldnāt be hard! After accepting my horrible nails, I got up to pay and was hit with $130!! They told me french design was $35 extra. WHAT!?!! I was also charged $15 extra for overlay on my 2 big toes, which I did not ask for and communicated this and it was ignored and I was forced to pay. Also, it took 5 minutes or both of the technicians to add up the bill and figure out how much the total was. I left in tears because I couldnāt believe what just happened. I never had an experience like this. I was so upset and decided to go to the other salon at the mall and they were able to fix what they could and i paid $30! I asked for a fill on my real nails that had acrylic overlay. (The photos are showing the visible previous acrylic, the design was fixed by a different salon. i forgot to take pictures of my nails because i was so distraught) This was done on 10/5/2025! I was there...
