Totally Tea — Restaurant in Austin

The staff look like half-asleep sloths. You can see the frustration on their faces as each additional customer walks into the place lol funny but it's not funny.

You only have the choice to buy a large size in most of the drinks, as they will tell you. This is generally a terrible business idea but also unfortunate when it's your first time and you're not sure you'll even like the drink.

Cue next point. The drinks are terrible! I got the brown sugar boba which is their signature drink and there was not a hint of sweetness in the drink! It was just about 20 oz of flat, plain tea with boba. My husband got a mango smoothie w boba and it tasted like artifical flavoring and was almost TOO chemically sweet like erythritol. I chugged them both bc I just could not throw away 40oz of $20 drinks.

This place is just sheer madness based on price (which is forced bc you're required to by a large) and terribly made drinks. I can't believe it...

One of the male workers at the counter was extremely rude to my girlfriend. Having worked in the food industry myself, I understand that it can be frustrating. However, there is no need to give customers attitude when they get confused with orders. My girlfriend and I tried to order a drink at 3 pm on Sunday, and apparently my girlfriend did not realize that there were only large sizes available for a specific drink. The cashier, who was a male with black glasses, gave her a very nasty look and told her, “I already said that.” There is no reason to treat customers in that manner, and I am very disappointed by the service here.

Reading the other customer reviews, I see that this store does not care much for quality service. I wonder how long businesses can last nowadays in this market with such an embarrassing lack of...

Giving a review based on the drink I had, the brown sugar bubble tea.

Quite expensive for the quality and taste of the drink, $8. For less you can get an amazing brown sugar boba from top Taiwanese chains. This one is a little lacking the milk and tea flavours and is a little too sweet. The tapioca balls are good.
