Four Brothers Venezuelan Grill — Restaurant in Austin

So I randomly stumbled upon this AMAZING 🥵restaurant on GrubHub and I was please to see that NOT ONLY did they have a ✨pulled pork sandwich✨ but that I could add fried plantains to it😌, which was music to my ears! I knew from the jump that the food was finna be bomb because of the great advertisement from the pictures which had my mouth watering 🤤and the pricing is chef’s kiss PERFECT🥴!! The wait was longer than expected- 🥺 but hey I work in the food industry so I get it (I’m not a Karen)❤️ I contacted them to see the status of my order and they were really chill and nice and helped me contact the driver ASAP. I felt as if I was talking to a real G (they are funny too- wit the gifs lmaoo) I felt valued as a customer and the driver was nice too (thank y’all by the way)😁 Also they even did it through text which is great because I got AnXiEtY, when talking on the phone w/ppl (yikes😂) The driver showed up I got my food and when I tell y’all IT WAS WORTH THE FREAKING WAIT because the food SLAPPPPPPPPSSSSS (on my momma)🤯 by far the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had y’all need to go here ASAP and that’s on 👌PERIOD!!!!!!!😜 Y’all have a new fav customer and hell I would probably even try to work for y’all too, keep doing what you doing and once again...

Food was great but ... They charge you a deceptive 5% "service fee" over and above the price displayed on their menu. I only noticed because I happened to look at my receipt. (This fee applies whether you use cash or credit card) When I asked the gentleman at the counter about it he pointed to some tiny fine print on the bottom of the menu (the menu is displayed on the wall on 3 TV monitors, this is in a mall food court), it's says "not included, sales tax, 5% service fee" I let him know that 99.9% of people are unlikely to ever see that because they are just ordering lunch, not signing a contract! He explained to me that "everyone does this in Florida, and soon it will all be coming here too." I countered with "that's fine, at least display something on your register. Otherwise it's deceptive, because your customers doesn't know that you're charging them more and did not consent to it." He then went on about banks charging fees and whatnot. Biggest perk is that they definitely fill up your bowls and the food is served hot! But there's a few key menu inaccuracies. 1) They have a huge "combos" menu, but when my boyfriend ordered the arepas burger, they informed him that's an old menu that they don't use anymore. It's already peeling, so I don't know why they don't take it off. 2) I tried ordering the Chicken Bowl meal, which I understood from this advertisement as including fries and a soda for $11.95. I thought this was a great deal. However, I learned AFTER payment went through that it was just the bowl. I pointed out that the sign clearly advertises fries and a drink, and the woman at the counter was just like "no." If I had realized this, I would've ordered elsewhere. There isn't even any small print that notes the full meal is more expensive.

Overall, I enjoyed the food, but the menu inaccuracies greatly diminished...
