AppleTree Terrace At Newberry Estate — Attraction in Back Mountain

Went to a wedding there, it's very beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that as soon as dinner was done being served (buffet style) and plates were cleared, if you had Silverware on the table they took it, even if you planned on getting more, they didn't even ask if you were done eating. They just took the Silverware, if you wanted seconds (which there was plenty snd the buffet was still open) you wouldn't be able to. They also cleared full plates of appetizers if you walked away from the table but didn't clear a single beer bottle or can nor did they refill water glasses or even ask if you needed a refill. If you asked for your water glass to be refilled they just never did it. And the dessert table was set up in the most awkward place, it wasn't even announced that dessert was there and they hovered around tables as people were eating just waiting to snatch the plate up and even if you weren't done and left the table to use the restroom, they cleared your plate even if it was completely full or half full. Not all of the servers did this, but a majority of them did. There was only 2 or 3 servers out of the 50 of them that actually asked if you were done eating. They also pushed their way past you if you were walking to get food or walking back to your table. Again, not all of them but a majority of them. Our wedding was made perfect by Fred and the staff at AppleTree! Due to COVID it was 1.5 years from when we booked the venue to when the wedding finally took place. Over that time, we had dozens of questions we would email to Fred at random, and he would always respond promptly, professionally, and straight to the point. His knowledge and experience set us at ease as we knew we were in good hands.

Outside of Fred, the location, included services, and cost could not be beat by any other venue. Being within the picturesque Newberry Golf Course helps set the scene of luxury with the wooded surroundings. They take care of everything from the food, dessert, furniture, linens, and all of the staff and gratuity for a very reasonable price per person. Also, the buffet style option gives the best food option as you can sample a little of everything they have to offer, and we got rave reviews from everyone that was there. This leaves you to only worry about your photographer/videographer, DJ, and centerpieces/decorations. Throughout the night, the staff was attentive to our every needs, followed our timeline perfectly, allowing everything to go off without a hitch.

I normally do not recommend businesses to friends and family, but I will always sing the praises of AppleTree Terrace for anyone looking for a wedding or other event.
