I had to do an errand that was 45 minutes from my home so I wound up at this location. Firstly, the cashier was GREAT! She was personable & patient which was timely because I am disabled and was attempting to shop without my nurses aide.
Secondly, I needed assistance in the meat/seafood section. The young lady that was there had the large tall metal cart in the way. I said, "pardon me". No response. So I said it again. She was a bit slow to respond. I asked her if the Waygu Beef was in this week. She said no. Then I asked for the Grass-fed beef. Her response, without moving the cart or herself, was to wave her hand dismissively saying, "Whatever we have out is all there is! " I told her that I was asking for her help because I had trouble seeing. She quickly cut me off saying, "I Know!". I said no you didn't know because I had to explain. So, I walked away.
The Aldi's I usually frequent has friendly & helpful team members. I've never felt dismissed or put off. And I surely have never been given that phrase, "Whatever we have is out! "

Read moreYou don't know what you're missing if you haven't tried the NEW Aldi. I'm like many other's who had an image of Aldi as the dark dingy discount grocer with poor produce and little other decent product, and of course, no brand names. I tried out the old stores in the past and never went back after my produce went bad within a couple days. Well, this new location is just about the complete opposite. Very bright and clean feeling. We've never had bad produce. Excellent deli & cheese section. They have awesome fresh fish & meats. We get ALL of our groceries here every week. We only need to venture to other stores once in a while for cleaning products or other home goods. Their non-brand name products taste just fine and the SAVINGS, the savings is ridiculous. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that we pay half of anyone else,...

Many things I bought have gone up in price, but it is still a good option for grocery. Produce is ok, must check carefully for freshness. Canned and nonperishable items are reliable. Organic mac and cheese is superb. The cheese varieties keep expanding and so does their offerings of wine. Cereal prices can't be beat! Things for kids lunches are well priced too. Always something interesting in the Aldi Finds section, buy it while you can. I get the majority of my baking needs purchased here, as well as spices. Don't forget your quarter for the cart and your...
