I'm a door dasher and I hate going to this location bc they are always so so slow. Today was the worst. I witnessed racism at its finest. I got an order to go there for an order. Just one drink. Ok shouldn't take long right? It was right before school this morning, so a lot of high schoolers had to get their latte's before school. They were all nice and polite. Here's where racism comes in. My husband gets out of the car and walks up to the window and lets the barista know which order he is there for. He steps back so others can order and pick their orders up. I'm sitting in the car watching this all unfold. Several students place their order after him. They get their drinks before the one drink he was there for. Another door dasher pulls up, gets out of his car, walks up and lets the window girl know who he is there picking up for. He steps back and waits. Several more kids walk up, place their order and get their order. The other door dasher is handed his order. My husband is still waiting patiently to be given his order. I'm in the car getting ticked off by now bc I'm watching this racism unfold. I call him and tell him to walk up and ask about the order. He walks back up and she said it's still working. Another group of kids walk up and order. My husband has finally had enough of it, he walks back up there and ask again. She grabs a bag of the counter and gives it to him. He asked her if it was sitting there all along ? She said no that it just got put on the counter. Oh wait, I didn't tell you the racist part right? My husband is white, the other door dasher was black, the students were a mixture of Hispanics and blacks. You can't say white people are the only racist people out there. They come in all colors and ages. I will decline all future orders at this Starbucks. I hope the owner of this Starbucks sees this review and re-trains the employees. Totally unacceptable. So disgusted by...
Read morePossibly the worst Starbucks experience I’ve ever had.
First, we stood at the walk-up window for several minutes (after several employees made eye contact with me) before they even bothered to open it. Since I’ve never been to a walk-up Starbucks before and we had been ignored for several minutes, I thought maybe we were doing something wrong.
When the male barista opened the window, in a half irritated/ half forcibly friendly tone he said “Hey, can I help you?” I said, “Yeah, I’m sorry, can we order here or are we supposed to only go through the drive-thru?”
He sarcastically replied, “No, they just put this window here for me to talk to people.”
I should’ve walked away at that moment. Because once we placed our order, we then sat out in the sun for a ridiculous amount of time while we watched car after car enter the drive thru and leave with their drinks before we got ours. When we got our drinks, one of them was made wrong (we ordered an iced tea unsweetened - we got an iced tea with 5 pumps of sweetener.. really? You have one job) and then the caramel Frappuccino was made so sloppy on top with the whipped cream and caramel that it was all running down the sides of the cup - it was a HUGE mess.
So unprofessional. Trashy location and...
Read moreThis location is a recently remodeled drive thru with a dedicated and attentive staff. We were customers at their walk up window, where service was friendly and courteous. However, the bathroom at the rear of the facility was a mess, with no toilet paper, overflowing trash, and nasty toilet. This happens quickly, maybe in only an hour at a busy location. It was clear the team was not checking it's condition on a regular basis ("spinning") in Starbucks lingo. The partner I alerted was kind and quick to clean it up, unfortunately my five year old and I just did our best to use it before he did so. All this being said, an easy fix would be to have the partners always spin - check/clean the bathroom and outdoor tables, plus a perimeter walk for safety, before taking a break, even a ten, and the supervisor can be confident that he is running a clean, safe, shift for their on-foot customers. Easy fix to ensure an already quality team of partners and Starbucks experience. On a high note, the espresso tasted great...
