Taco La Villa — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I order the same tripa tacos (doradas) and fries i have ordered since first moving here two years ago. Best fries and tripa tacos ever! Until this day... they changed their fries, they now look & taste like any other fries from any other burger spot. And their tripa tacos were BEYOND BURNT. I go back to have them remade and the lady at the counter goes "oh' it's because you ordered then dorada"... I'm like, "I've always ordered them dorada, never have i recieved BURNT tacos." She ignores her daughter's suggestion to JUST MAKE HIM NEW TACOS and offered a refund. Two things I would never recommend anyone do in customer service...

1. Blame the customer
2. Let the customer leave with the money. Always push an exchange. NEVER start with an offer of a refund. I wanted my tacos replaced but with her blaming me for her cook's burnt food and then NOT offering to replace those BURNT tacos... i did not feel welcomed. I won't be...

1st off this is our go to taco lovation! Plenty of La Villa taco stands in town, but this location has their special asada seasoning! That i preffer! & they actually make the “carne DORADA” like i request everytime! N their assda meat choice is tender! N not just the guey gross, parts! Its actually meat! Their beans and rice taste just like my moms! Love it! The one dissapointment is…we order frequently, n i order my asada tacos, now idk what is goings on? But the skimp on the onion cilantro topping! N i ask con todo, salsa on the side…idk why, but that has to be fixed, the taco prices, have gone up. So we should be getting our moneys worth please. Anyways, i will still remain a loyal customer due to your seasoning. Thanks. Oh & their red salsa is very spicy! Green one isnt as spicy! Love them both! I would give a 5 star because I love their food, but the one thing I hate about it here is they never admit to their mistakes when they forget something. It's happened plenty of times so now I'm finally leaving a review I ordered on Uber eats because I didn't feel like cooking so they forgot my burritos I call them and they say "we can't do nothing but check the camera we can't replace your food item because I remember placing everything in the bag so your Uber driver took your food" I laughed so hard because the damn bag was tied together what a sticker around the knot and it was stapled too lmao really the uber driver took it admit your mistakes it happens!
