The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with live greenery and perfectly curated music that sets the tone without overwhelming the space. It feels modern, cozy, and effortlessly cool—like stepping into your dream neighborhood café.

Let’s talk about the food. We started with the Salt & Pepper Wings, which were outrageously good—crispy, flavorful, and gone in seconds. I ordered the Carnitas Enchiladas Verde with rice and beans, and it was hands-down phenomenal. Rich, tender carnitas wrapped in a fresh tortilla and smothered in a zesty green sauce that hit every note. My wife ordered the ceviche, which was fresh, citrusy, and perfectly balanced. The smash burger sliders we ordered for the kids were juicy and satisfying—no corners cut, even on the kids’ menu.

And don’t sleep on the drinks. Each one arrives garnished with fresh fruit, visually stunning and perfectly crafted. Whether you’re sipping a mocktail or something a little stronger, the attention to detail is clear—and every sip is refreshing and full of flavor.

Oh my gosh! I have never tasted pork done better. The carnitas tacos were the best I have tried. The flavours and heat were perfecto. The pork had just enough fat (rendered perfectly) to bring this dish to the next level. It was nice having the doubled tortillas crisped on one side, yet soft enough to fold. Definitely needed extra napkins, as the sauces and pico de gallo combined for a juicy and flavourful experience!

My husband thoroughly enjoyed the grilled bass filet served with garlicky jalapeno shrimps. He also raved about the steamed vegetables… a tasty assortment.

I wish this new restaurant great success. They certainly deserve it! They are waiting for a liquor license, which allowed me to try their hibiscus and berry non-alcoholic home-made drink that was delightful. It reminded me of a sangria… only...

Some of the most delicious food we’ve had — not just in Cali, but anywhere! Everything we tried was excellent — the coconut horchata and various refreshers, the ceviche asiatico, eggplant parmesan bites, carnitas tradicionales, ranchera steak al norte, spicy marinara cremosa pasta… even the sides were done to perfection, the black beans and the garlicky mashed potatoes were packed with flavor! The team that served our table were all super sweet and friendly, especially Jazz, who has a lot of love and pride for the place and shared with us that the owner’s Tia helps prepare the delicious meals! There’s a lot of love and authenticity here, and it’s definitely a place we’d visit again if ever back in Bakersfield!
