Exceptional experience! My wife got a recommendation to try the Ballwin Barber Shop for our 11 year old son, so he and I walked in this afternoon (Monday) to give it a shot.

Rabah was working his artistic magic on another customer when we got there, and he politely informed us that they were closed Monday, that he was working on a special favor and invited us back another day. No worries, sign on the door (that I missed) clearly says "Closed Mondays", my mistake. We walked back to the car but not 10 seconds later he hustled out after us, said he could take care of us, so we turned around and came back in.

He finished with his "favor" client (amazing work, I'd observed), then turned to my son, and, with limited instruction/direction from me, got started. He didn't rush through it, though he could've (that's what we're used to with kids' haircuts, right!). He didn't act like we inconveniencing him, though we were there on his day off. He was great.

Watching Rabah work his craft on my squirmy 11 year old was awesome. He'd never sat in a true barber's chair before and it's hard to imagine going anywhere else. I love seeing professionals who take tremendous pride in their work do their thing and Rabah exemplifies that attention to detail and overall quality. It was more than a haircut, it was an experience.

Do a great job on haircuts. Many barbers I’ve had in the past are on their phones often, pause several times, and prolong the cut. Especially when I have multiple errands to run that day. These guys are quick, efficient, and get the job done every time I’ve gone. They also do walk-ins, so you don’t always need an appointment. Very flexible with a customers time. Super understanding that life can be busy and a schedule can change. So a cut may be needed at an unexpected moment. Rabah always cuts my hair and does an excellent cut every time I come in. The other barbers are just as good based off of what I’ve seen from other customers. They also update their shop to fit their customers needs. Installing a new couch that can fit at least 10 people, offering plenty of options to sit and relax before your cut, as well as other small tools that help perfect their craft.
