Shoe Dept. Encore — Attraction in Bartlesville

Good experience. The cashier willingly went to walk and help my friend find the shoe type he wanted. He wanted slip on shoes. She knew the brands in the store and where all the slip ons were.

He gets shoe shopping anxious bcos stores typically don't have his size or want to help him find what he needs. But we got assistance and extremely helpful to us and everyone who came in.

He found the kind he wanted ASAP. But glad that we found a place where someone was willing to help and no judgment/rude remarks when he ended up finding the ones he wanted quickly 😂.

Also store has a lot of options. I was able to find a style of sandal that would work...

My husband just called me and told me someone in the store, didn't specify if it was a manager or associate, came up to him after he had been browsing for new shoes (something he needs for work and somewhat water resistant) for around 30-40 minutes and told him he needed to buy something or leave because they were tired of his kind coming in and stealing. My husband and I both have full times jobs and us and our 3 kids frequently shop at this location. He was dressed for our being at home and wearing socks and sandals. They 100% profiled him and this is unacceptable. Not sure I want to shop...

Went in there yesterday with a friend, he was looking for work shoes. Not once did anyone great us or ask if we needed any help. Made the mistake of making eye contact with one of the employees ( pretty sure she's a manager), pretty much scowled at us. Also yelling back and forth with another employee, arguing about who put something wherever. Overall awful experience. Did not make a purchase. Dunhams had what we needed. Good job girl. Way to run off customers. Sure your boss or bosses are proud. She needs...
