This is hard to write because I have worked in food service for years. I hated bad reviews. But today was terrible. The manager left an inexperienced server alone. She didn't know how to make an order and couldn't find the manager. Several of us knew that the manager was in her vehicle on her phone since she was parked in front of the store. While it may have been an earned/required break, it was very difficult for the worker to be alone and should have been taken during a slower time. When the manager returned she ignored the worker when she spoke and went straight to the back even though there were at least 6 people in line. After we had our order made, the worker couldn't get our card to work. I asked if the manager could help. She went back to ask and also told the manager she was overwhelmed. The manager said she wasn't coming to help the worker. "Do it like I told you." was her reply. Wow. Not exactly the type of manger I'd want I'd I were CSC. The worker tried hard to stay positive. We were there for almost 20 minutes for just a bite of ice cream. Can't see us trying again for a while since the manager's lack of teamwork and leadership made us so uncomfortable. Read morePoor service! I visited there tonight with my family who is visiting from overseas (having bragging about the place) to allow them to have the full service of cold stone. Being that its the christmas I was certain that cold stone was open and was happy to see the open sign as well as the door being open, excited my family and I quickly ventured in only to a rude staff (Alex - I wouldnt be surprised if thats not his real name) who hastily told us that they were closed and he just forgot to close the door... my aunt explained to him that they had heard about cold stone and just needed something to bring home to which he obliged but told them they had to keep it simple..which they did... he quickly took my credit card and didnt offer me a receipt which I asked for but he walked away while mumbling something about the machine not working and to make matters worse he did not think to give me my ice cream because he set it at the back table! I had to call him again so that i would be able to get my ice cream even though they rest of my family had gotten theirs!! Read moreI truly hope that management looks at all their reviews. I was there today to wanting ice cream. Not A PERSON IN SIGHT!! Then finally a worker came in from the front door and said "I'm sorry I didn't see you come in, hope you weren't waiting too long?!" I then told her not to even worry I wasn't even sure if I wanted anything at this point I was so dissatisfied with the service. The last few times I have been there over the couple years I have left there without ordering anything. I keep going back hoping they have corrected the problem but clearly that isn't the case judging by the other reviews. Not only is this poor management but it is poor OWNERSHIP! I have no clue how they are still in business but I can tell you one thing if your "service" is better you wouldn't have such awful reviews and you would be busier and able to afford to hire another staff member to manage more than one customer per 15 mins.
