This was a cute little museum. It was free to enter and look. It did not take a lot of time, and the prints were not too expensive. It's a cute one-time experience if you are already headed that way. I wouldn't go out of my way for it because of how small it is. It is inside of an old train depot and there is a small exhibit doen stairs as well of Carnival attire. If you are making a Gulf Coast trip and like history, it's a niche little spot to check out.

What a cute collection of Alice Moseley's art work! I had never heard of her until a friend and I dropped in here. Very cute stuff. Downstairs is a Mardi Gras museum with costumes and some local history. Upstairs is her artwork, mainly of this area. I can not recommend coming here highly enough. Employees are friendly and passionate. It was sheer joy stopping in here.

I liked this little museum which I did not know was here. Learned about a local artist and had a nice chat about the area with the lady working the museum. The wife and I walked and peered at the paintings and it was certainly a different time she lived in compared to now. It is free and if you are in the area you should check it out if you like paintings.

It's on the 2nd Floor. It was nice. Had been wanting to go since I moved to Waveland 5 years ago, wife and I, along with a granddaughter, finally made it!!! The artist, Alice Mosley, was a prolific and well known ( locally as well as nationally ) painter. It's especially amazing since she passed away at 94 in 2004, but didn't start painting until the age of 55!!!

They also have on the 1st/main floor, a cute little Mardi Gras costume display along with several collectable model trains on display - after all, it IS all on display in the old Train Station in Bay St....

Small but very nice art museum. Great collection off Alice Mosley's work and her story. The lady at the front desk of the museum was very welcoming and helpful.

It is upstairs in the building, and a little difficult to find. Don't go towards the end of the day - we came down the elevator to find the welcome center door locked (an hour before closing) and we had to find an exit through the staff door. The welcome center staff and museum staff were different organizations from what...

Never knew an art gallery could be so fun. I was so impressed not only with the art, but the artist aswell. She was such an influence to her students from the 50's-70's, but a huge inspiration to anyone can start to paint. She seemed to be such a bright witted person and you can seem some of her humor in her pictures. Free to enter and very reasonable pricing for reprints and magnets. The guide was very knowledgable and kind. Don't forget to...
