John Mark Verdier House — Attraction in Beaufort

My friend and I were in Beaufort for just a few hours. We are interested in history and architecture, so decided to look for a historic home tour. I have been a homeowner & taxpayer in Beaufort county since 2018. Last week myself and my extended family from Ohio visited to possibly tour the house in the next 1/2 hour. When one of my family members was asked where he was from by one of the hosts, he responded Ohio- she responded with “Bless your heart”. Guess what?
