I can’t say enough about my experience with artist Melissa Lyons. The first time I visited her studio I completely fell in love with every one of her oyster paintings. After several discussions as to what I was looking for Melissa steered me toward her oysters with a rich navy background. I appreciated her feedback and advice as to what would look best in my space. I have followed Melissa Lyons Art for over 10 years now. I followed her because of her gorgeous art, but I’ve continued to follow her because of who she is & how she shares her faith through her artwork. February of 2024 I attended her creative weekend in Beaufort & it’s hands down one of the BEST experiences I’ve had. Melissa was gracious & accommodating. What you see on social media is what you get in person... Real, Jesus loving, Holy Spirit filled & unashamed of sharing the goodness of God to anyone who will listen!! She was extremely generous with her trade experiences and sharing every detail of her business model. I left Melissa knowing God can use my talents, whatever that might be, right now and without having all the things figured out first. Just start and God will bless what I put my hands to. My experience at Melissa’s Creative weekend was absolutely phenomenal…not just for myself but for my family! She truly is an encourager for pursuing the desires that God has put into you, to put your hands to work and trust and watch as God does what He promised and bless it! If you have the opportunity to bring your family for a trip to Beaufort, please do! You, your husband, and your kids will be blessed to meet and talk with Melissa! You will leave with your faith strengthened! Her gallery and upper room are perfection….if we lived close I would book all my kid’s birthday parties...
