When I googled bagels I came across this restaurant. Upon looking at the menu, I saw they served Taylor Ham as well. I am from New Jersey and was even more interested in trying this place. I attempted to place an order on Doordash, but was unable to add cream cheese for some reason. When I called, to ask if cream cheese was available to order, I spoke with a woman who informed me that they were in fact from New Jersey too. I was even more excited because bagels from home tastes like nothing else down here.

My father and I decided to visit in person. We ordered a half dozen and tried one of their flavored cream cheese. The price for the bagels was reasonable, however a tub of cream cheese was $6.50. We did not order any Taylor ham because that too was expensive. Plus we cook our own at home.

We were only given five bagels, but charged for six. Mistakes happen. The bagels were fresh, soft and definitely not store-bought. We ordered the everything cream cheese which was very flavorful.

My only drawbacks were the price and The fact it was a little difficult for me to access because I use a walker. I wish I was able to meet the owner, but the young lady who helped...

I’d love to give this place five stars. I’m a regular and order for pick-up 1-2 and sometimes 3 times a week. Everyone is always great and my order is always correct. Today I called to do the same thing and someone named Amanda answered the phone. She cut me off before I could even finish my order and got irritated when I said I wanted to add one more thing. My girlfriend asked what kind of bagel she could use with the omelette bagel and she blew up and we could hear her tell another employee that “this girl does not know what she wants” and handed us off to another employee. I’m sorry we inconvenienced you with our business. I work in an understaffed place too, but it’s not an excuse for treating a customer like that’s because you don’t want to do your job. Probably won’t come back unfortunately.

I take back what I said about my order always being correct. I gave the place another chance and my order has been wrong twice....

Visited back at the beginning of April when we were in town. The food was fine; it was the environment that threw me. All of the tables seemed out of place to where there was was a line going back into the occupied tables, and you felt like you were in someone's way while ordering. We also couldn't see the bagel options very well from where we were standing in line (only the sandwich menu). A lot of the tables were dirty so we sat outside because there didn't really seem to be much other choice. I know this year has been difficult with short-staffing issues, so I want to take that into consideration. The bagels, spreads, and coffee were good - no complaints there. Our service was perfectly fine as well - we got what we ordered quickly and the staff was helpful as we were first-timers. We probably would have come back the next day for the food if it weren't for the other issues. I would be willing to try...

I enjoyed this place so much that I went three times over the course of the 10 days that I was visiting Port Royal. My favorites were their bagel sandwiches (I did a make your own option and it was perfect for me, but they have loads of delicious combinations available, too). I love that the sandwiches come with a side of bagel chips, too! Being able to grab some delicious and fresh food from here and eat it along the river walk was especially enjoyable, although they have a cute shop for dining in as well.

If you are in Beaufort during "bagel-time" don't miss Rain-n-Bagels. Our breakfast sandwiches were as good as could be. The bagel chips are not to be missed. We were slightly disappointed that the hummus we ordered for out road trip was not homemade, but Boars Head, everything else is home made, we wondered why?

We used our breakfast Coupons from The Beaufort Inn at Rain-N-Bagels on two days. First the staff welcomes you and is very efficient. Their Bagels and muffins are great. My husband loved the Vegetable Omelet Bagels and the bagel crisps. Indoor and outside seating. Casual comfortable eatery.
