Irvine Park — Attraction in Beaver

I took my grandkids here to see a performance by some very talented storytellers at the gazebo. It's nice to see a park in the middle of town that is clean and well manicured. There were plenty of garbage bins and it was obvious that the people in town know how to use them. There is plenty of shade for outings on hot summer days and several benches to rest upon. Spent Sunday evening at the gazebo in Beaver. Allegheny Brass Band put on a great performance!! My only complaint - if our daughter wasn't in the band we would never have known about the concert. I don't know where the band advertised, but we never saw a flyer or heard an ad about it. While the crowd was okay, a lot more people might have been there if it was better advertised. There's a big billboard right there in town...it should have been...

Came out here last week for the Beaver Light Up Night with my wife, daughter and friends from work. It was crazy crowded but for good reason. The parade started at 6pm and was cute, a lot of fun. There were food vendors, horse carriage rides, a light show, and all kinds of other stuff. It was my first time but i will definitely be making a tradition out of it for the coming years...
