I recently moved into a new home and hadn’t done much to make it feel like my own. On a whim, I stopped into NW Rugs in Tanasbourne. Walking in, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of rugs—thousands hanging everywhere! That’s when I met Madjid (yes, pronounced Magic). I told him I was looking for rugs for my living room and dining room but that both spaces also needed furniture and accessories, and I didn’t know where to start. With absolute confidence, he told me that starting with rugs was the right move and that with his 40+ years of experience, he’d guide me. Even with just a poor photo of my living room, Madjid knew exactly what I needed. He quickly pulled out two rugs from the massive selection, and I instantly liked them. His expertise and reassurance made me trust him, and I ended up ordering two rugs (9x12 and 7x10) with pads and delivery to my home 70 miles away. When the rugs were delivered two weeks later, I absolutely loved them. They truly transformed my home, making it feel warm and inviting. The delivery team was prompt and professional, taking great care to place the rugs exactly where I wanted them. I had a few questions after the delivery, and NW Rugs handled them promptly and thoroughly—their response truly exceeded my expectations. I definitely would not recommend this business to anyone. We went in and ordered a rug. Once payment was made, we were told it would take 2-8 weeks for delivery, had we known, we wouldn't have ordered it. After the clerk posted the payment, he proceeded to write "Special Order" on our invoice and asked us to initial what he had written, al the while pointing out that the invoice clearly states no refunds and no returns. He said to call in 2 weeks for status of order. I did. I was told in a very harsh tone that it would not be shipped for another 4-6 weeks. I pressed him on why since he said it was coming from Georgia and was in stock, therefore, NOT a "special order." It was finally delivered 6 weeks later. We live on the 4th floor of a condo building. When it was delivered, it was left outside our door on 7/3/2017 (holiday weekend), the delivery person(s) left one end propped against the wall outside our door and left the rest rolled up on the floor from one side to another, completely blocking our neighbor's exit. We had no idea when it would be delivered, what day, or anything, but we were home all day on 7/3 and no one knocked to tell us it was being delivered. They simply left it bent up against the wall and left. We found it several hours later. This company and employees are the industry standard, Ambassadors, and direct reflection of high quality and authentic Customer Service! Right away friendly welcoming upon entrance. The active listening of Jaren and his Manager, and very positive professional courteous, overall very helpful. Surprisingly and quickly answered all questions and alleviated all concerns pertaining to shipping, and satisfying my Turkish GF. Quickly built sincere Rapport and assisted us with almost a perfect Needs assessment, and didn’t waste time as we got our rug and additional under-rug accessory item and floor protection mat padding insert.
