Best Bar Hopping Spot in Portland—Margarita Factory

This is certainly a 5 star place. With Chelsea leading the staff and Blas lead bartender it doesn’t get better. We met Marcus a waiter who just makes the experience a great one. Went again today and had a great meal and great service with Ivan. The restrooms are clean and spacious. The carnitas plate was excellent may be my new regular. The large Best is town Cadillac Margarita was also excellent. Have to revise the last 5 star review. My dish was unpleasantly salty, I tried to eat it but it was just too salty. I did send it back but surprised they were ok with me not eating a meal today. I just ate the rice and beans, it took a while for our server to react to anything, I had to go to the bar to order our second Margarita. I believe good service is REALLY IMPORTANT for a good experience. Only other advise I could recommend is asking for a spare plate to put the Shrimp tails in, was a little awkward to put the tails on the table. Our server was nice but not that personable which made it a mediocre experience Other thing we really appreciate is the dress code here, most where a nice black pant, shirt and vest. Very classy. Pleasantly surprised. Very roomy, very clean very nice. Staff is very nice, we had Kionna who was super nice and friendly. The food was tasty and decent portions. The Margarita was tasty and generous. The prices are very fair specially the margaritas. We split our fajitas and we were both full. I highly recommend this place.

Cant tell if this place is supposed to be a restaurant or a lounge club haha. If anyone ever went to Qube in downtown portland YEARS ago, it kind of has that vibe lol. The drink menu is 4 pages long and has NO PRICES LISTED 😡 My margarita, while it was large, was not worth the $16 I paid. Also we went for a party and the communication between whoever booked the party and whoever actually managed the buffet seemed to be lacking. The buffet was booked with a quoted price of $10 per person over the phone, once the party started and the food was brought out then the host was informed it was actually $24 person (Which was overpriced for the flavorless taco bar set out for us). Also no one was informed of the mandatory 21% tip that would be automatically added to their tabs. I would never have tipped 21% for the service we recieved. Our water pitcher at the buffet was never refilled once, we were constantly tracking down servers to place orders, some drinks never got delivered to us and we had to remind the server what we ordered because they were just writing names and drinks on notepads and I guess losing them. Instead of having an assigned server to the party room the staff was running their tables in the main area in addition to occasionally waiting on us in the party room so it took forever to be served and even longer to get our checks at the end. Overall, it was a good place to have a couple novelty drinks with friends, but I wouldnt count on the food being any good.

Was passing through and stopped in for my first time here as I made my way back to Portland from the beach. It definitely seemed like the place was the place to be in Beaverton on a Sunday night! The building is actually kinda cool and provides the right ambience for the Mexican cantina margarita food vibes it's going for. The best experience I had there was the female bartenders and hosts. Very polite, smart, attentive, and honestly the best looking & on point group of females I've seen in Portland (I'm a single male who just moved here and apologizes whether it's politically correct to say or not but it's a really nice touch to be at a place with attractive people)!! *For me it's rare to get my heart pumping but the blonde lady from Arizona IS one of the most beautiful people I've seen and talked to anywhere. Point I'm making here is the bartenders are extremely good looking and you might get a crush on one you can probably never date so you've been warned~ Sorry I know this is supposed to be a food review but truthfully the steak fajitas I had were pretty much just meh so the customer service stands out to me. The chips and salsa were quite tasty and other food that came out of the kitchen looked great so I'll definitely try something else If I come back by this way again. The margarita I had was excellent and again the service was top notch. For me that's why you would go here....Great drinks and great bartenders 🍻

Server was amazing. So sweet and polite. Manager was also kind. We've been here a few times and have loved it. Service was a bit slow this time (40ish mins to get food), our appetizer came with our meal (umm...), but to be honest the worst experience was being in 40 degree weather out in their tent when their was open seating in the restaurant which was miserable. Our hands and faces were freezing the entire time. Their heaters did nothing. You go out to dinner to enjoy dining, not sit while a cold breeze blows directly on you from an opening across from you and beside you at the table. Multiple people we saw complaining and moving tables and almost everyone was wearing their coats. The music was also so loud we could barely hear each other talk. We asked before being seated if they had any room inside and we're told no. An option should have been given when we asked. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. It was just uncomfortable the entire time. Do better to impact someone's night out vs your bottom line to increase more seating for profitability.

I decided to swing by and give this place a try for an early dinner during my work travels. I think the bulk of these 5 star reviews are for the cheap HH options. I triws the HH margie. Decent and appropriate alcohol to mixer ratio. I sat at the bar and had earbuds in while I listened to a seminar and was asked if I was ok, or needed anything else no less than 20 times by 4 different employees! There's a fine line in good, attentive service and becoming intrusive. Reading the room is a learned skill and while I appreciate good service, I ended up leaving because I was pulling my ear buds out every few minutes to tell them I was fine. The bar was empty when I arrived and it was super slow, but I wish they would've just gave me 10 minutes to myself to enjoy my drinks. The fried fish tacos were simply put--not good. One small piece of fish, spicy sauce was good, tons of cabbage. But the Tortillas!! They are flour and clearly out of package and served cold. They tasted like Mission Tortillas. I would've preferred 🌽 and has them grilled a bit/served warm.
