I visit this restaurant as it is attached to the Indian grocery store and as a convenience we eat there as the commute to this place is almost 3 hours. We had our first cart full of non perishable items and we spoke with one of the employees to ask where should we park our full cart as we first will eat something before we resume our shopping that will be mostly perishable refrigerated and frozen. We then ordered the food (receipt attached here) and given number 16. We waited about 2-3 minutes and our drinks were served (not water), then after about 5 minutes first they brought first dish, then another five minutes the second dish was served. Later I observed that the person was serving dishes for other customers. I waited hoping they are still preparing. Later after about 10 minutes of waiting I reminded the only person doing the serving on all tables, collecting dishes, cleaning etc. He appeared surprised that we have ordered three dishes and believed only after I showed him the receipt. He then went to inform his coworkers about it and they had a kind of argument ensued about the order and we waived the receipt at them showing that all of this is ordered together. After about 5 minutes of back and forth of proving that we did order it we were told to wait. I had lost my patience and appetite by this time. This was highly unprofessional and unethical behavior that I had to prove to them and not just one time but to everyone that this person was talking to. Very poor customer service and attitude towards customers who are frequent customers. I went to the register and asked to cancel my dish and just refund for the dish. They tried to quickly serve the dish and server told me that food is already ready and he is bringing. I just stopped him that I am no longer interested in the order. I wanted to eat the food with my family and not wait forever and after proving twice only be served. I strongly insisted on the refund and the person on cash register immediately handed me the cash for my dish. Honestly, the other two dishes weren’t up to the standards and satisfaction either except the drinks that were acceptable. Since we had consumed the served dishes, I didn’t want to make them refund for that. After completing my transaction at the restaurant, we left the place. I didn’t bother to continue shopping for other items and also left our filled cart worth about $700. This place may have the merit of being able to provide groceries from India and other Asian country however, they failed drastically today. They didn’t truly care nor owned their mistake rather showed an attitude of making me provide proof of order multiple times. I don’t plan on buying anything from them anymore and I will never recommend them to anyone else. We later went to Apna Bazar that is across from them bought our groceries there.

The current 3.6 rating for this place doesn't do justice to it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go here coz there are a few places with 4.4+ rating around there but I decided to go there coz the menu seemed exciting. Although I planned to eat the chaats here, but when I saw their buffet spread I was left spellbound. Their food looks awesome. The buffet is 11.99, it had amazing medu vadas with one of the best sambhars I've eaten, aloo parathas, pakora kadhi, puri bhaaji, dal tadka, rice, paneer sabji, veg biryani, naan, BOONDI RAITA 😍, salad, 3 non veg items (I'm a vegetarian so not sure on those items). All of the food was so awesome I had no place left to even try the biryani. For dessert, there was gulab jamun. The jamun was quite hard to cut, but it was sooo tasty; the taste trumped the hardness. Excuse my enthusiasm in this review, but seldom do I fall in love with a place and this is one of them. The food did seem a little heavy though, and I guess it would have been a 5 star if it was a little less heavy. The staff here is super polite and pleasant. Rating - 4.5 Since there is no option to select 4.5, I'll round it up to 5.

Needless to say, this is a one stop solution to stock my Indian pantry. From a wide variety of Indian spices, grains, snacks and all the condiments you could think of, you get them here. You also get the basic pooja stuff, containers, vessels etc here, but a little overpriced definitely compared to the Indian stores in other states. There is a small Indian restaurant inside, where you could satisfy your junk cravings- chaat, chola bhatura and dosa etc! I have edited my stars because the food was so disappointing. We ordered hakka noodles and I assure you you would throw them after the first bite. The dhokla was super dry and had excessive chat masala on top. Chola bhatura was aweful. The service is good though. On complaining about the noodles, they made new noodles for us but exactly the same way. Biryani tasted good but had buckets of oil. Gobhi paratha looked savory due to loads of butter topped on it but had no salt, it was awful.

I really usually don‘t do poor ratings but in this case I feel responsible to our community to speak up. Half of the staff does not wear a mask or wears a mask only covering mouth not nose. The space between the shelfs is super small. When I wanted to get spices while some staff was refilling the shelfs, there were 4 team members around me. Totally ignoring my attempt to keep distance and in fact coming even closer (w/o) mask to keep doing their work. Suggestion: introduce one way walkways and let max one employee work in one shelf. It works in most of the supermarkets around! At the moment this is non acceptable chaos!

The same scenario by the way happened to me twice in two more other sections of the store and not only in one visit. I always feel totally unsafe and not treated nicely hence will not go back.

Last but not least, even the cook in the takeout section does not wear the mask in kitchen. When confronted even arguing.

I agree on the last comments, that the prices also went through the roof however to be fair don‘t know how much the world‘s supply chain plays a role here...

Fix it and manage the store in a way that one has the feeling corona (keep distance, manage crowds, masks, cart sanitized, follow rules) is taken serious and I...
