I looked around at tons of haunted houses in and around the DFW area and had a really hard time choosing where to go. Dark Hour was at the top of my list, but it's ridiculously crowded (2+ hour lines) and I wasn't trying to wait that long. Plus, they apparently shuffle people through really quickly so you get bunched up and get your scares ruined by people in front of you.
I was in between Moxley and another place called J&F and chose this one since it had overall more reviews and when I called them, someone actually answered the phone.
I'm very glad I chose Moxley. It wasn't an awful wait (only had to wait around 45 mins to an hour, which is to be expected on a Friday night) and the actual "house" was pretty good. I got scared a few times and really enjoyed the different rooms that they'd set up. The actors were pretty good, and in the first part of the haunted house I didn't run into any other people that were in front of me and the person I was with. They did a good job letting people have space in front of them so that the scares wouldn't be ruined by other people screaming in front of you.
The 2nd part of the house, which is the the 3D clown maze, was also pretty good. It's definitely a cool concept, but they make you wait with other people for a minute or two before you can go into the 2nd part after the 1st part. This causes you to get bunched up in the maze with people that are taking their time. If you're worried about this, definitely take a second with whoever you're with before going into the maze so that you don't run into the people in front of you.
Overall the haunted house was awesome and I'm glad I went to it. Definitely worth the price. The only downsides are the slight issues with running into people in the 2nd part, and the fact that it's about a 30 or so minute drive from Dallas. Other than that though,...

I visited this event on a Saturday night. We arrived right when they opened at 7:30. We did not pre-buy our tickets and they did not upcharge for buying on site. The woman at the ticket line was very nice and their was a very short line to buy. We were fairly high up in line and didn’t wait long. They had several “line actors” to rile up customers as they waited. I was pretty impressed at the quality of makeup and wardrobe. They did a good job at controlling the size of groups saying our group of 7 might be a little big and they were right. It’s 3 haunts for one ticket price. The second one we did we split up and it was more enjoyable. They were very clear and serious about rules and safety which was nice. I did notice most of the employees were rather young but it was fine, they did a great job. The man going over rules for the second haunt “The Asylum” was great and friendly. You could tell he cared about his job and tried to rev up the crowd, the Second Lady in the Asylum stayed in character and yelled strict rules at us and I thought it was done well. The third haunt, which was circus themed, is on the second half of the asylum, which meant no waiting in a 3rd line!! It was surprisingly my favorite and you used 3d glasses!! It was so trippy and fun! I was very surprised how enjoyable it was! It had some steep inclines tho so some mobility challenged ppl should take care, BUT I LOVED IT! They also had a gift shop with a concessions w/light candy and drinks. I thought it was neat they had items from a local oddities shop that for perfectly with the vibe! It was fun seeing people running out of the end of the circus haunt. An employee offered to take or picture. It was a great experience and I recommend giving it a try, especially...

1st time visit Saturday night after going to literally every haunted attraction in the dfw area..so on arrival it's a big parking lot in a shopping center that houses the haunt in a former grocery store I'm guessing but you can purchase tickets in advance or in person cash and card accepted then there's an ice cream truck..pizza stall and Mexican food too with a dj playing music....then you go to either the main haunt moxley or you go through the asylum one then a break in between to grab you're 3d glasses for the big top circus then it empties into the gift shop which is really nice...plenty of merch...snacks and photo ops...very friendly staff all around and a few actors are outside interacting in the lines and parking lot....the houses themselves are veryyyyyyy good and reminds me of dark hour plano....indoors but very detailed and nice sets especially the 3d circus
CONS
GET THE FAST PASS BEFORE GOING OR GET IN PERSON bc the lines are LONG we spent almost an hour or longer in each line which in a parking lot and just standing kinda hurts after a bit...other issue unless you find a spot closer to the haunt or the lights are working in the lot it's VERY DARK in sections and last issue people smoke here and there in the line so if you're sensitive to that or can't stand it then bring a mask or be prepared for that unfortunately and last thing the gift shop stays open till last person comes through which they stop selling tix at midnight so if they have to stay open as long as necessary they will BUT the food can either run out or they could close so either eat right away or in the line while waiting AND the 3 or 4 bathrooms available are Porta potties so yeah not the cleanest so yeah that's...
