He deserved 0 stars. I never leave reviews but I don’t want anyone else to have the experience I did. Never have I dealt with such an unprofessional person. After trying to make sure everything looked good, the font he was going to use was not the same as the one I chose. I was not argumentative or unkind and he just got mad. I truly just wanted to make sure it was accurate. I have picture evidence of my concern to prove he was not correct. But needless to say, he refused to do the service for me and shoved it all back in the box and sent me away. His attitude was a complete 180 from when I arrived. Can't gush enough about my experience with Cody at Texas Bred Custom Laser. Not only was mine an unusual case...where engraving was needed on a knife to cover a complete fiasco of a mistake made by another engraver...but I needed it done right away as this was a wedding gift and the wedding was the next day. Cody made himself available and worked out a fabulous solution in no time. The knife came out fantastic...better than I could've imagined! Cody totally saved the day and the cost was beyond reasonable. He is very friendly, detailed and amazingly skilled at what he does...seriously talented. Cody did an outstanding job engraving 50 putters for my company! Not only was he the only one in town willing to take on the challenge, but his honesty and expertise truly set him apart. He took the time to simplify the technical aspects of metal chemistry so I could understand the process, which I really appreciated. Great pricing, clear communication, and unmatched effort.
