I came here with my Son and he had a blast! In the past, I have taken the little guy to Funtastic Playtorium, Safariland, DEFY trampoline park, Ridge Activity Center, Catapult Adventure Park, Playdate SEA, WiggleWorks, Pump it Up Lynwood, Flying Squirrel, and Arena Sports.
Compared to those places, Twinkle Land is far better for its target age range. The play area has all kinds of unique features. A ball pit, slides, ball cannons, trampolines, rock climbing with a foam pit, air tubes for balls, an interactive projector screen you can throw balls at and much more.
There is a clean restroom and a family room. There is an area with tables and chairs to enjoy the cafe at. And outside of the play area, there is a craft area that allows your child to take home one craft as a souvenir. They call it the DIY craft area.
The arcade games are next level. I made sure to take videos of them for you to see.
The cost isn’t cheap, but still reasonable for what is offered. There is no time limit like a lot of places have. You can stay all day. With my experience of taking my son to so many places, I can tell you it is worth the cost. Your child will have so much fun because it is like a miniature Disneyland for them. The arcade games alone are way more fun for younger kids than Dave and Busters. In fact, I have never seen anything like them around here or San Diego where i’m from.
When you pay for admission, you are allowed to accompany your child. There is an additional fee for more adults. But this is not to make more money, it is actually a space issue. There is not enough room for too many adults with the kids in the play area. Especially when they are busy. So the pay wall is simply to limit the amount of parents entering that area so the kids have plenty of room to play.
Aside from a treat for your kids, there an aspects of your visit that are developmentally beneficial for your child. Motorskills and physical exercise are used in the play area. Creativity is inspired in the DIY craft area, and hand eye coordination in the arcade due to the interactive games they have.
Okay, that is enough typing now. Enjoy the pictures and videos I took. They show what I didn’t mention. Because as they say, a picture is like...
Read moreI brought my preschooler here for the first time today. We had so much fun, I was very impressed by the number of activities for a variety of ages packed into the space. We visit a lot of indoor play places both locally and when we travel, but Twinkle Land is a clear standout. I LOVE that they have a closed off play area and parents can sit outside and supervise. I wish they had a full coffee bar or something for parents, but they do have a variety of light snacks. My kid loved the huge ball pit, and they have a number of ways to enjoy it (air poppers, a throwing game, a slide to send the balls up, etc.). The climber offers endless tunnels of fun. The sand pit that is not actually sand (sooooo much cleaner) has so many fun toys for the ultimate sensory experience. The trampolines have games to play while you jump, even the foam pit offers a building experience. The arcade style video games are designed for a variety of ages, my 3 year old who has never even seen a video game was able to play and enjoy. We didn’t do the craft area, but it was very popular and we’re looking forward to checking it out next time. The food area has a screen for entertainment and the cotton candy machine is seriously cool. Staff was super friendly, but I found it odd that they ask for a tip when buying a play pass. Not sure what they’re doing that constitutes a tip (this wasn’t in the cafe).
The facilities and equipment are in great shape and it looked very clean to me. We didn’t see anyone actively cleaning (like I do at other indoor play spaces) in the three hours we were there and I can’t imagine how they keep that ball pit clean, but I saw nothing that caused me any major concern. I do wish they had hand sanitizer available, you’ll definitely want to bring your own.
Overall this is a high quality space that I feel is worth the price in this area given the number and variety of activities available. We visited on a holiday and it wasn’t super busy. It’s probably best suited for the kindergarten and under age group. We can’t...
Read moreMy family was visiting Seattle and I thought it would be nice to check out this place. In my honest opinion $32 for all day unlimited play is expensive. I’ve been to other play places before and they are not nearly as expensive as this one. The play area only had 2 slides and not many obstacles inside the climbing gym. It’s also super dusty by the back windows and there’s a few areas that should be fixed, ie; the big cone slide, seam around the seated part at the top is ripped exposing the wood which could hurt someone. One of the boards to support the upper part of the climbing gym feels a little loose and uneven, like it could give way. Also an additional $23 to do a “diy” activity is overrated. You get to play with a little water table and kinetic sand then take home one item of 3 choices (dig up a surprise, water beads in a jar or a mini brick house). On top of that, they advertise and say there’s food and what not but I couldn’t even get a Vietnamese ice coffee bc the “barista” was not in. All that was available was canned beverages and ice cream. I got a push pop for my son that was $4 which was only a regular size one but labeled as “jumbo”. I understand people gotta make money too but come on, this is a place for kids to have fun not rip parents off. Lastly, the arcade games are expensive and the card system is rigged. Got a $20 prepaid card, played 2 games (most don’t even tell you how much it is) that were probably $5 each and ended up with $7 left. How does that make sense? I ended up giving our card to another parent since we weren’t going to come back. But overall, not too bad of a place, just be ready to spend a...
