My family and I came into town to have lunch at your restaurant today. I am from Italy, and I love good Italian style food. The food has always been great so we were excited for lunch. Greeting us from the sidewalk was your large sign saying “PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR SEATING INDOORS” in all caps, further directions were written underneath. We walked away feeling pretty grossed out. It’s hard to stomach segregation and discrimination, and in our beautiful peaceful part of the land. I went on their website and read, “Our only objective is to keep our staff, patrons and community as safe as possible.” We loved this restaurant, but what does it stand for? Not health, not keeping anyone safe, not love or inclusiveness, not family, and definitely not basic human rights. If you aren’t vaccinated, for whatever and any reason, and would still like to eat at the restaurant you are segregated to the outdoor area on the parking lot, covered by a pop up tent that will stop the rain, but definitely not the cold wind, from getting you. This isn’t about keeping anyone safe, you aren’t asking for proof of antibody testing, and the vaccine is offering possibly more protection only to the person vaccinated. This isn’t about keeping people safe, if that was the case you would only allow metabolically healthy people to enter, who have high antibodies and are of a certain age group. And if you did this, I still would not enter because of the segregation and discrimination involved. This is about showing undying support to a pharmaceutical product. My review is not to change anyone’s view or opinion, I simply have never, nor ever will be able to watch something so wrong be done and not say anything in support of those it’s...
Read moreUPDATED Oct. 26/23: Övn’s GLUTEN FREE CRUST, it’s spectacular!!! My wife was recently diagnosed with Ciliac disease, and we have been batting ZERO in finding a decent (read edible) pizza crust! Övn DELIVERS! I swear you cannot tell the difference! THANK YOU SO MUCH ÔVN!! Sept. 10/23: BENNY took exceptionally good care of the five of us this evening! My wife was just diagnosed with Celiac and Benny was kind enough to suggest Övns “gluten free” pizza crust. WOW, was he spot on! It was by far the BEST Gluten Free pizza crust we have ever had! Spectacular!!!! Thank you so much Benny! …The Previous review: I can't believe it took me this long to review Övn Wood Fired Pizza. It is by FAR the best pizza, and MORE restaurant in the PNW, let alone the Fairhaven / Bellingham area. The Neapolitan - Inspired pizza they produce is truly the best there is. My wife's favorite is the Margherita but she adds a couple of items that makes hers unique and oh so yummy. Their General Tso Wings are amazing, the Potato Wedges are terrific, any of the salads are so fresh and so tasty, and the Cerberus pizza with Creminelli salami is a definite 5 Star Award Winner in my books! Right down to the olive oil with Balsamic Vinegar, no detail is too small and the quality of ingredients is second to none. On certain days weather permitting the outdoor dining is always a pleasure and the eclectic choice of wines are always fun to explore. The whole crew @ Övn are always on point and they never disappoint. We try to get into Övn at least one a week, it's just that good! OH, and try their new Rosemary Flat Bread, OMG! OH, and their sandwiches...

Cute sit down fast casual restaurant, relatively small place with around 15-20 tables with an additional semi covered seating area outside. If you have a party larger than 5, I suggest calling to see if there is an inside option available.
We ordered the Matterhorn pizza 12” and full Kale Caesar Salad which was plenty of food for us (2 adults).
The Matterhorn is a must get with cheesy béchamel, Gruyere, thin potatoes, caramelized onions, and slightly sausage on a smoky, crispy yet chewy crust. Definitely one of the best pizzas we’ve had ever and wish this place was closer to our home.
The homemade lemonades are delicious, slightly more tart than sweet which we love and I personally liked the rosemary option to give the lemonade an herbal flare.
The Kale Caesar has my favorite cheese, grana padano, an anchovy base Caesar dressing, and a couple of lemon slices. I’m a big fan of anchovy to give a little salty flavor to the dressing especially when paired with the acidity of the lemons. The salad is well balanced and light to complement the pizza.
Our server was super sweet and excited that we tried her favorite menu items.
Overall amazing dining experience. Next time we are in Fairhaven, we will...
