Warhammer — Local services in Bellingham

This store caters to a particular hobby that is coming out of the woodworks with related young adult board games, video games, and toys and for any one looking to get into the Warhammer community or re-up their own stash this is the place to go. Jason is great with engaging his customers and guiding you to the most fun no matter your level of interest or knowledge. I was able to bring my wife here and she was treated like a normal person while browsing. The group of like minded nerds that hang out here to paint and play games can vary in temperament, but largely seem to welcome everyone with open arms and have a zeal to teach the brutal tactics of the table top game or happy to just chat painting techniques. My husband and I were in Bellingham for our anniversary and stumbled upon this store dedicated entirely to Warhammer. I’m not super familiar with Warhammer, but I do enjoy fantasy, so we decided to check it out.

We were greeted by a super friendly staff member (I wish I could remember his name!) who told us we could build and paint a character for free. My husband and I jumped at the chance—and we had SO much fun putting them together and painting them! He guided us through the entire process and was absolutely fantastic.

We ended up buying a set because the experience was so enjoyable. He explained all the beginner sets, gave helpful recommendations, and never once tried to upsell us.

The store does have books!

Don't get me wrong, the models that are sold are incredible and absolutely worth the investment if you've got the time and patience to paint. I've been hunting down books for age of sigmar, 40k, and old world as of late. Each time I visit a new city I search for "Warhammer stores near me". This one actually has books in stock! Most places are models only, I've discovered.
